Upcoming contest entry chosen

Daehun's next entry for the BJSC is officially chosen and this time by the Emperor himself. Hints are known to be that it's a female pop group that comprises of 9 members who has just skyrocketted Daehun's official iTunes and national chart and is reportedly outselling the #2 song by 100:1. Further news on this to be reported as soon as the semi results for the next contest opens...

In other news....

Daehun finishes 21st with 69 points in BJSC XLV!

Daehun's controversal track, f(x)'s Hot Summer, finishes at 21st place with 69 points. This has given us our 3rd best placing and score in the finals ever since we participated. Many thanks to the countries who voted for us and hope you continue to support our next entry (which we believe is FAR stronger).

Girls' Generation to represent Daehun on BJSC XLVI with Paparazzi!

http://cloud.comtrya.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/girls-generation-paparazzi-splash2_thumb.jpg

Following the opening of the semi-final voting period, Daehun can now announce the act to represent our nation is Girls' Generation with Paparazzi. "An act in which we were considered sending strongly from all the way back in October, only to be abandoned for T-ara's Roly Poly, we will not miss a chance to send them now". It's a track which has a strong production and a catchy hook of "ohh la la la's" and "Boom Boom Booms".

Girls' Generation brings in Daehun's highest BJSC finish in XLVI, Aeroche wins the contest

Today on the Final results of BJSC XLVI, Daehun's representative Girls' Generation ends up at 5th place with 148 Points equaling the highest Asian Languaged Song ever in BJSC (Ayumi Hamasaki went 5th as well on the second contest). "We're very happy with our result, even though we were at one point 1st and ran out of steam, this is still our best result and also from the nation's favourite group as well so well done on our girls", says Kim Jonghyun. Meanwhile, the contest was won by Aeroche and Daehun expects lovely graphics filled with the colour black in the upcoming BJSC.

At the final results tonight held in Aeroche, Daehun's entry placed 13th with 98 points, just 2 short from the triple figure. Also, this has now been registered as the 4th highest performing song in Daehun so far. We would like to thank those who supported and voted for the track.

Congrats! <3

(If it hadn't been for that final Jarkangel vote, CK would've finished higher. Talk about cruel irony. :D)

Much thanks <3

Poor Crystal Kay though, I thought it'd go Top 10 easily and if not Top 5. What a shame people don't understand it too well. :(

Seo In Young's Anymore fight for Daehun in BJSC XLVIII

http://www.allkpop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/20120819_seoinyoung_anymore.jpg

Less known in the K-Pop idol world is Seo In Young who was part of a famous idol group prior to the explosion of K-Pop in the mainstream media in Asia. Released recently in Korea, this song has been receiving praise from both the public and internationally to us K-Pop fans as this song is different from the usual sound her Seo In Young's past materials. Anymore can be described as rather euro-pop but in Korean and is seen by some as growers whereas others are more instant of the tune. We hope you enjoy this entry from us.

Come back after and repent.

Even the fiercely xenophobic Altyr populace is on board with this one.

It's not very often Altyr Muunlinst is on board with Daehun's entries so a bit surprised and baffled that this reached out to you with success. :D

After much consideration the reasoning given is as follows: the chorus and verse feel like one song, whereas a lot of K-pop songs tend to feel like a melting pot of about 4 different songs popped together and the results aren't often pleasing to THESE ears.

I do understand that sometimes a K-Pop song can go from being pop -> dubstep -> rock -> rap all mixed into one song. Maybe my ears are just built for....weird sounding songs.

Kyarypamyupamyu represents Daehun for BJSC XLIX

After much discussion, Daehun, out of inspiration this month has sent a backup song for past contests with "PONPONPON". A song gone viral last year for it's superb music video and sung by 18 year old Kyarypamyupamyu, it has peaked at #2 on Daehun's official charts earlier on in the year. BJSC XLIV, hosted by Jell Bird Jury's associate member Ramrynia, will mark Daehun's anniversary of one year participating in BJSC ever since we started out with Kana Nishino's Aitakute Aitakute and its unfortunate DNQ.

OPINIONS WELCOMED ON THIS TRACK HERE!
