June 19, 201114 yr 40. Nelly & Keri hilson - Live Tonight It would've been nice if that happened in the overall chart! I heard the song on the radio yesterday actually. The general public would totally eat that up. :D
June 19, 201114 yr Why does Scotland get a separate chart? The sales from Scotland still count towards the UK charts right..?
June 19, 201114 yr Author Yeah they still count towards the chart. The scottish chart would always be so different though had they had a seperate iTunes.. Top 10 effect etc would be different.
June 19, 201114 yr Why does Scotland get a separate chart? The sales from Scotland still count towards the UK charts right..? Yeah, they do. I don't know why. I just guess they publish it because they have the data? It's interesting to see anyway.
June 19, 201114 yr Why does England not have its own chart then? Surely if a province such as Scotland having one then surely England should get one too because it's more populated and that most of the UK sales come from there..?
June 19, 201114 yr There's a Welsh chart too, but for some reason the OCC doesn't post it on their site
June 19, 201114 yr I agree it is bizarre though why The Scottish one is the only one published. I prefer this chart, as I consider it the true chart if that makes sense. Really interesting reading. I knew Calvin would be number 1 this week. Scottish artists always do better(for obvious reasons).
June 19, 201114 yr Scotland loves Gaga. BTW got to number 1 here, and TEOG got to number 2 :o. I've also noticed pop songs(Poison was a number 1) and rockier songs do chart higher generally. Edited June 19, 201114 yr by starryeyed
