It's on my hit list. I'm disappointed that 'Lose Yourself' is on the verge of leaving this contest - for me, it was by far one 2003's best UK #1 singles. -_- For some reason, I can't help but think posters are getting 'Lose Yourself' and 'Just Lose It' mixed up. :(

There was lots of crap in 2004 so Eminem got there by default. But LY is one of his best ever, and JLI is one of his worst his worst ever

I don't care whether it's a modern classic or not and I'm not holding the fact it's a rap song against it either. I just think it's a really really $h!t song.

Actually, it probably IS his worst single ever! :o There's some album tracks I think are worse though.

 

This is so stupid. I saw Just Lose It get so far last year, and I was thinking "Oh, that's good then, all his other songs should do even better!"

I hate Eminem because he's lyrically banal and childish... and whilst I love rap music - I wouldn't even consider his MTV-lite brand of 'rap' worthy of the genre.

^^ Eminem can be childish at times (see his Slim Shady songs e.g. Just Lose It, We Made You, My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady etc.) but Lose Yourself is one of the songs where he is serious and meaningful (Love The Way You Lie, Not Afraid and others fall into that category as well)

 

Of course not everyone will like Eminem, I get why you don't like him but he's not always 'lyrically banal and childish' :P

There's a slight difference between songs you like and songs which are 'classics' or 'worthy of mention'. My least favourite song of all time is Chasing Cars, but I freely admit it's a classic. Unfortunately.
