... they all bring out another Take That album in 2012 with a tour in 2013 and that'll be it.......they all go out on top of their game.

Didn't we hear that BEFORE EVERY album they brought out?

Please read the article. It's my perception of the situation. Take That hasn't said that.

I didn't imply that and i read the article. my answer was to your oppionion, which i keep hearing from people here after each album and each tour.

I think how far they will go further is depending on how much would Gary capitalizes on his X-factor fame for his solo career (not that it was needed, he would have success nonetheless).

I think after the next album and tour it would be the perfect moment to call it a day. They can't achieve much more......in my opinion. Rather finish on top than finish too late........

Eh, if they are after fame, yeah, they should stop it (and i will loose also the last straw respect i have for them). If they are real artists, doing this job because they like music, they should continue as long as they want to say something through music no matter record sales. You know, like some Paul McCartney do ....

And if they fans love them only for "their legacy" and "their amazong sales" and "the chart position" , i pity TT

I've got to be honest. I still haven't bought Progress / Progressed yet and I probably never will. If they do another album of the same calibre - I won't buy that one either.

I'm so glad I saw the Progress Tour - it was good. Not as good as The Circus Tour - but good nonetheless and at least now I can say I have seen Robbie Williams. I think I've seen them at their best at varying times and I've no need to see them again.

Kath

they won't break up and disband again. full stop.

I think we might get an updated greatest hits set next, 2CDs would be good featuring their older and newer stuff with 5 or 6 new tracks.

Ya i would also think an updated greatest hits will be next or another live album, i also cant see them disbanding again or if they do its still a long way off, they are still dellivering strong albums and yet all very different and they are still a massive touring act so i cant see them stopping, they may slow down a bit as in the releases wont be as quick and the tours as regular. I think it will also be interesting to see how long gary waits on as a judge on x factor.

I would still love to know though how their record contract stands, usually must deals are 3 albums followed by a greatest hits etc but take that have obviously gone a different route so i would love to see how many albums are left on their current contract.

yeah the next album will be a live album. apparently it has already been listed under the title of 'the edge of forever' so that will be a definate!

then robbie is releasing his new album co written and produced by gary in the september/october/november period

then it will go quiet and we will see a new studio album from TT. i think after that they will then do a tour for 2013 and release a greatest hits for christmas 2013 and then we'll see what happens after that!

Il be delighted with a brand new live album, and im assuming that will get a november release, id assume then we will probably get another take that studio album november 2012 which wouldnt be a huge long wait as the live album would fill the gap, im so happy that they are releasing live albums as i so prefer their material live rather than studio. Im not really a robbie solo fan, while i have liked some of his stuff i cant see myself buying his album, on saying that if the material is good i would buy it, i always say if i like the music been delivered i will buy an album from any artist and robbie is no different.

After all the speculation that Take That might split again, Gary Barlow has said that it wont ever happen:

TAKE That will continue for ever, promises Gary Barlow.

Nerves frayed when the lads admitted their brief reunion with Robbie Williams, 37, was over.

But chief Gary has vowed to keep the band going until they are being wheeled around a showbiz care home. Gaz, 40, told me: “We will always be around. Having Rob back or not, I think we can do it for the rest of our lives now.”

Out next week, the band’s live Progress tour DVD is enjoying HMV’s second-biggest pre-sales of the year, after Harry Potter.

Gaz admitted: “I watched it the other night and it feels like years ago, that bloody concert.

“It looks incredible. I’m proud of us. It was an incredible two years and we did it.

“For now Progress is done, but I think we will come back to it with Rob whenever we feel like it.”

And Gary is already tentatively plotting TT’s next move. He revealed: “Rob wants to do a solo record next year. So it will be the four of us.

“I have no idea what direction it will go in. We will only know that when the four of us go back in the studio. At the moment I have no time to write new songs because of all my other jobs.”

Besides X Factor, those commitments include Children In Need, which has seen Gary pull together a host of urban talent christened The Collective.

“In fairness it was Labrinth who pulled most people together, along with Tulisa.

“It took on a life of its own.”

Well im delighted with that news, there is no reason they cant continue as long as they can keep coming up with music that people like, this should hopefully end all speculation about them splitting. Its good they are stricking together as i have said before as a collective they do well but not so well when apart.

Yeah im very happy as well

Looking at what Gary says about Rob doing a solo album next year so it will be just the four of them....Does that mean that we can expect a new Take That album in 2012 for sure now?

It must be as if Rob was releasing this year and TT released in 2013 then there's no reason Rob wouldnt be involved in that album as he wouldnt be promoting anything or touring. I think Gary is definately hinting towards a Christmas 2012 album here, let's hope that whilst Progress/ed was a nice change, we get a spiritual successor to the brilliant BW and The Circus!!

Rob will probably come back for the 25th anniversary album or something
25th Anniversary re-union sounds realistic, I like the idea that the door is left open for them to work together, this has benefits to both and they can come and go as they please.

I actually their next tour as a 4 piece could be better than the progress one purely because it wont feel disjointed and the focus will be on the four of them rather than thinking what rob will do next

im happy they have left the door open and its obvious that, with Rob joining TT on universal and the fact that the reunion has broken all records, they will gig again

The tour will be more coherant as 4, in that respect it will be better.
Im looking forward to the next album as a 4 piece as i really want to see what direction they go, to be fair to them each of the albums since they returned have been completly different and i guuess its fair to say that all their albums have been different, they cannot be accused of releasing same sounding type of albums if you know what i mean.
