And now she invented herself new again: She conquers the wardrobes of her fans... Three years ago she won the fight against cancer, celebrated an amazing comeback with her new album “Anastacia†and now she does her own clothing line in combilation with s.Oliver. She has enough ideas: “I love life – it´s just inspiring!†You are a singer and now a fashion designer and model for your own collection...First I wasn´t sure at all if I should do modeling for my own clothes. But the shooting was a little bit like doing a music video. It works pretty well. The conditions were pretty extreme in the desert outside LA, the heat – everything seems to be extreme with me! For whom did you design your fashion? I was thinking, if three generations like my music, teenager, their mothers and grandmothers, then all of them should be able to wear my clothes. That´s why I did Jeans, T-shirts, bussines dresses and sexy tops. Do you have a big own wardrobe? Yes, an incredible huge one, almost abnormal! And of course I have a lot of shoes... What do your family and your friends say about your new career as a fashion designer? My sister, who is also my assistant was with me right from the beginning. And all my friends were excited and like: Great we never have to go shopping again! But some of them also said: Anastacia you don´t know how to take a break, you are doing more and more... You also work for breast cancer prevention? Yes I try to achieve something with everything I do! As I noticed that many women doesn´t know much about breast cancer, I wanted to share my experiences as a survivor and I think I can help a lot. What are your next plans? Are you happy? Oh yes! Life is beautiful, I am healthy. And it is great to take some time off from my music career, to fulfil the other sides of myself. In private life as well. I take tennis lessons and want to learn how to cook. All those things I couldn´t do, while I was just singing. Protected Love Closeness instead of distanceAnastacia got to know the german MTV moderator Patrice in 2002. The were connected imediately and he helped her during her fight against breast cancer. Two years later they became a couple. “I am in love and I enjoy the feeling very muchâ€, said Anastacia at the Echo Awards 2004.
