OFFICIAL: Britney leaves JIVE for RCA label next month

In July 2011, Jive Records will breakaway from the RCA/Jive Label Group and become part of the new Epic Label Group, which will be headed by L.A. Reid. The Epic Label Group will deal with more urban releases through the inclusion of Jive Records. Artists such as P!nk and Usher will remain under the Jive artist roster when it becomes part of the Epic Label Group. "Marquee" Jive Records acts such as Britney Spears will be moved to the RCA half of the RCA/Jive Label Group.

I think people are getting confused by this. She's not leaving Jive.

Jive/RCA Label Group are merging with Epic. Britney is still staying on the RCA side so not much is really changing...

After all, her international releases, at least in the UK, are already managed/released under RCA.

I think she should move to Interscope, to be honest. They handle their acts properly.

THIS.

that's the best record label for quite a while now...

just look at how RCA are handling FF in the UK :arrr:

She just needs a 70/30 deal with them where she makes 70% of the decisions.

I would love that but these days, she needs her dad to make decisions regarding how she lives her life such as money etc. I doubt it will be anytime soon when she will make decisions regarding her career.

She can make creative decisions. Her dad only manages her money and lawyers.

According to Martian Leaks, her contract is f**ked up  Does anyone know anything else I don't? They're also saying RCA are trying to "sell" her record contract to pay their debts to Sony.
