Is it because his throat is still bad, Meg? Hopefully he will appear in the next couple of weeks, even if it means he will have to record his performance!?

I didn't watch so I don't know. If he did, it show how wrong they are giving a tenor the same song as a bass baritone

Julia on Facebook has posted that Alfie Boe is replacing Rolando for this week on the panel, so there might be a chance for Darius to appear. Sue

But as it was the 1st series, there wasn't a reigning champion to return. Most every other show of this type has a return from last years winner, it would be extremely odd if he didn't make an appearance, even if he wasn't going to sing :???: I'll be dissappointed if he's not asked back :(
