I just haven't heard anything It's good he was asked, and a shame he had to cancel. Just wish we knew a little more about it and what and when he's going to be doing in the future. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, again...... :rolleyes:

July 3, 201114 yr do you suppose one day things will all come together for Darius? it just seems things always go wrong I think I know what you mean pip, as I don't feel D has had anything like the recognition his talent deserves, but he's got a pretty good life at the moment. Part of why we love him is because of the way he's dealt with adversity in the past, and whilst I've personally disagreed with some of the career decisions he's made, he's out there doing what he wants to do, earning a living and living with the woman of his dreams, lucky man :) Not to mention that he's healthy, attractice and supremely talented, as well as being a wonderful person too ;) I hope his throat gets better, and even if he can't sing, I would like to see him appear on PSTOS, so I'll keep my fingers crossed :)
July 10, 201114 yr Just listened to Joe and Rolando's duet. It was good, but there just wasn't any emotion or magic there. Wonder why they opened the show with the duets this year? Sue
July 11, 201114 yr depressing, the sun had full pagespread about elderflower and pstops, i dont recall much at all about darius...and no mention of himwining last series in the articles,its as if this was the first series.... contestants releasing new albums, record deal, it just makes me bitter....more bitter that is lol Edited July 11, 201114 yr by prettyinpink

I would never buy it either, but when I was collecting newspapers for papier mache at school, I used leftover copies of The Sun to line the cat's litter tray!
July 20, 201113 yr hi-does anyone know why joe got a record contract with Universal'for winning p.s.t.o.?! HISvoice was not as good as Darius, meaning, yes, he's a nice singer,but lacked the power to sustain some notes for this type of music, & had nothing like the polish or acting skills that Darius displayed- but i did notice that Rolando praised him to the hilt' right from the outset, & of course the other judges just followed suit. in many ways it is one of the worst things Darius has done- no prize/ record contract & any small praise given by Rolando was so grudging,&at one stage, positivelyencouraged the silly remarks made by Lewellyn Bowen. only at the very end, did the remarksbecome more positive, when they saw he would probably win. Rolando didnt like him-he wasnt a daft wee boy, who didnt question anything & lets face it - Darius attracts a lot of jealousy from some men! we'll just need to wait & see what Darius does next & at least Darius knowshow unfair life can be, but somehow rises above it all. also about the cancelled appearance- they could easily have had Darius on at a later date-or even on non singing, but they chose to ignore him completely- not even a whisker of a mention! WEIRD & slightly sinister, dont you think. for us fans its the unfairness that wrankles. Afew years ago,Victoria Newton ,then,of the 'Sun' said she would do all in her power to ensure he didnt succeed- she went on to the'NEWS OF THE world to a higher position, so i hope for some form of 'poetic justice' although, no doubt, she'll just move back to the Sun' anaway,here's hoping we all hear something more positive from Darius soon. regards, jeanette.

September 21, 201113 yr Author Thanks, BT. Booth was involved in Darius' decision to drop the Danesh from his name - the conflict was a tabloid report and not true. Wiki is not knowm as the most accurate site around.
September 21, 201113 yr Anyone who knows anything about Darius knows how great his relationship with his father is, and if they didn't before, they must have seen how genuine that hug for Booth was, when he won PSTOS. I bet those upstairs were having kittens when he unexpectedly disappeared off stage. All their planned camera angles and timings went awry. I think Darius must get a lot of his never say die spirit from Booth, who's been through so much but never given up.
