Fairy cakes, my daughter loves them but slightly prefers cub cakes, neither are really my thing as im not into buns cakes etc, funnily though as you mention baking, i had to make cheesecakes this evening for friends of ours, again i hate them myself but my daugher just loves helping to make them.

How are you on savouries (in particular roast dinners). I've got a brisket for tomorrow and I've never cooked this cut before (economies forced upon us made us go for a cheaper cut this week!) I'm assuming that you have to cook it for bloody ages!

Im better on savouries as thats the food i like myself, while im not a desert person im told i always make them well especially my pastry but i rarely taste them as they just do nothing for me, give me a packet of cadburys chunky chocolate chip cookies anydat over a desert,.,

But onto your brisket, what i have done before is give it a boil for about an hour, if its a small joint maybe less, finish it off in the oven, and you may think im crazy when i say this but when putting it in the oven but a a can ok coke into the bakling tray, ie poor the coke over it, dont put the tin in!!! and cover it in foil til cooked.
