listening to radio 1 earlier and gary has pretty much ruled out the x factor performance with take that. he says that he cant see them doing anything else this year

however he will be performing a duet with someone on children in need night so that could be interesting...kelly rowland maybe?

Maybe he'll do another duet with Robbie. A song from Rob's new album perhaps?

I hope not, things like that should be a one off, other they may aswell do an album together!! maybe a mark and robbie duet this time, i think they are more suited to do a duet than gary and robbie ever were even though i really do, did, still like shame.

Mmmmm, their shouted Back for good rendition was so funny. I want more Robbie+Mark! (but i don't think they will duet as Robbie will promote his new music). Perhaps will be a duet Gary+ Coldplay man? Or Gary+cheryl? Gary should duet with Leona, IMO.

Maybe Gary/Mr Blobby, Gary/Crazy Frog, Gary/David Cameron, or even Gary/Gary - the perfect duet!

I honestly don't give a sh/te! I detest X-Factor with a passion and thank God that ITV3 sometimes puts on an episode of Lewis or Midsomer Murders at round about the same time for me to escape it!

When we were young got a nice plug in emmerdale today could be clearly heard in the first scenes, might help it pick up 10 more sales!!!

 That may make it go back up to the dizzy heights of 299 on iTunes!

Weirdly enough though - Rule The World got a mightily unexpected plug yesterday on Pointless! I'm assuming that someone had proposed to someone (I may be wrong) but a rendition of it was sung and a young lady blushed quite a bit!

That should help push a few extra sales for rule the world, and im sure rule the world will appear somewhere on x factor, i think rule the world is oneof their few songs that will continue to sell and sell in small numbers and maybe occasionally show up in the top 100 from time time, it has done so so many times in the past already. Im sure eventually it will sell over 900,000.

When we were young is on the opposite end of the scale and will be just completly forgotten apart fromn the very hardcore fans, id say its ,maximum sales will be 20,000 if even.

its strange how they never did any progressed stuff live (apart from one movie award performance of love love, not counting the tour)

i know its not their strongest material but i would have liked to hear them live..

The tour was prob enough for them, apart from the flood they didnt overly promote any single with live performances etc, love love especially could have done so much better.

And if Simon Cowell let them perform Kidz on the XF final as was originally arranged before the riots then that would have done very well.

I did think kidz would indeed peak higher within the charts and sell in larger numbers than it did. My individual preference is kidz is an average song and not an ideal follow to up The Flood which was an amazing single.

I, to this day am saddened by the complete lack of interest in when we were young, huge under performance for a beautiful song with an even more beautiful chorus.

More people would have bought it if they released it as a cd and actually did promo for it.
I dont think many people knew it was a single so that hindered the whole project, I do wonder what the reasons were for treating the single release so badly?

I do like when we were young especially the chorus but id still rank it among their weakest singles rather than strongest,
