July 13, 201114 yr Awful list of qualifiers for this round. Flux, Stronger and Hey There Delilah were probably the worst 3 songs in the list. I only gave points to 5 of the qualifiers and Calvin and Paramore were the only ones I ranked in my top 10. LIAPBED actually did much better than I expected, as did KTCR :o Disappointed with the underperformance of SS and DCM though. Edited July 13, 201114 yr by Bré
July 13, 201114 yr Actually I think that's a rather credible and varied final list we have there; for a change it's not over-saturated with throwaway female pop, most genres are represented and they were all genuinely popular or enduring hits that don't look particular out of place in the final top 50.
July 13, 201114 yr a good list of qualifiers there, YLAINE, Acceptable in the 80s, Young Folks, Misery Business and Hey There Delilah  and Editors and Arcade Fire did much better than I thought they would :D Edited July 13, 201114 yr by Chart Wizard
July 13, 201114 yr Actually I think that's a rather credible and varied final list we have there; for a change it's not over-saturated with throwaway female pop, most genres are represented and they were all genuinely popular or enduring hits that don't look particular out of place in the final top 50. It is good to see it not being 75% female pop again. But the 'alternative' qualifiers are mostly terrible songs IMO.
July 13, 201114 yr I really like the list of qualifiers actually. Varied. Gutted Patrick came so close though, I thought it was flopped to start with but got convinced it would manage it's way through. Siobhan doing so baddly surprises me more tbh.
July 13, 201114 yr Poor Delta :( Still, not bad for a song not released in the UK. Fairly decent qualifiers although I'll always have a huge soft spot for Grace Kelly, seems like it's worn off on everyone else now...
July 13, 201114 yr Happy Ending, Flux, When You're Gone and Stronger  Great for those 4 alone. Shame Grace Kelly didn't quite make it, it's great, and I thought it might scrape in.
