October 5, 201113 yr If anyone has Virgin On Demand service there is a 'James Morrison October Takeover'. About half an hour of an intimate gig, probably an album launch type thing, performs Wont Let You Go, Slave To The Music, Right By Your Side, In My Dreams etc but also You Give Me Something (not about an STD he says to the audience  ) and Nothing Ever Hurt Like You. Also a further 30 minutes of a quite candid and interesting interview, chatting about his father, how the Jessie J duet came about and possible stuff in the works with Ed Sheeran.
October 5, 201113 yr Im liking this album but i have to say james left his record deal as he said they wanted him to more or less stick the formula of the 1st 2 albums and he didnt want to do that as he wasnt pleased with his second album, but this album sound wise is different to the last album really, im happy with that though as i was a fan especially of his second album.

Do you mean isn't that different Aphrodite? Because I have to agree I'm a little puzzled why James considers this to be so different? Many of the songs could easily sit on the last album so I'm a little bemused James thinks it so different, he does seem prouder of it tho and says that in the Virgin set, there's one song he wrote entirely on his own that made the album and how chuffed he was about it. I really like it too but not sure how it differs too much from the previous.
October 5, 201113 yr Ya i meant isnt different, and iagree that many of the songs could easily sit on the last album, like you i would love to ask him what he thinks is so different on this album as i dont get it myself.
October 8, 201113 yr Anyone knows the first week sales for the album and the single? :) I am so glad that the album has gone to No.1 for him, the second in his career which means he's established a bit of a base for him to build on. :D
