Posted July 17, 201114 yr The Circus DVD has its 86th week on the music dvd chart (over 75% of that inside the top 20). It actually swaps places with LBDS - going up from eight to six whilst LBDS goes down from six to eight. Kath
July 17, 201114 yr The circus dvd is just doing amazingly well, look back dont stare has also bounced back very well indeed. Shame dvd sales are so hard to get.
July 21, 201114 yr Author Is there any way we can find out how much the circus dvd has sold? Sadly I don't think there is. Occasionally (and I do mean very occasionally) in Music Week there's mention of actual figures when some milestone has been reached - but nothing regular. As it happens - the last such time was about six months ago when The Circus had reached around 750,000 copies (apparently it was then - and I'm assuming still now - the largest selling music dvd in the UK) I think positions two and three were taken up by Take That as well - with Beautiful World and The Ultimate Tour respectively. There's a chap in the chart forum called vidcapper who posts sales figures and he MAY know something but I'm not sure. Kath Edited July 21, 201114 yr by Kathyp
July 21, 201114 yr I think its not far from a million sales to be honest but i could be wrong and it is still the best selling music dvd in the uk. I would love to get a full list of their dvds and total sales just like we get with the albums.
