That beat is immense! :wub: - 10/10 2. Nothing innovative, but a good entry for this entry and I can see it doing OK - 9.5/10 3. I've only heard one song from this artist before, and loved it. Same for this, it's quite BJSC but I can see it struggling to qualify :( - 9/10 4. Surprised I like this entry tbh, but it's a lovely slice of Scandi-pop, which never goes amiss! - 9/10 5. Bit of a shocking entry for the country in question, but it's really fun and catchy, I have the tune stuck in my head! - 8.5/10 6. I really shouldn't like this but I do... It's kind of BJ friendly but I'm 50/50 as to whether it will qualify. - 8/10 7. Great catchy dance song, should do very well! - 8/10 8. Kind of stands out from all the dancey tracks in this semi! - 8/10 9. Beautiful track, would be nice for it to qualify so we have some variety! - 8/10 10. This won't qualify, but a really great track that could appeal to pop and indie voters. - 8/10 11. Very BJSC, I think this could do well! - 8/10 12. I've known about this for a while, not the artist's best by any stretch but a decent track that I can see qualifying - 7.5/10 13. Fits into the contest well, it might get a bit lost in the background though :( - 7.5/10 14. The foreign language doesn't make me like this any less! - 7.5/10 15. Very unusual, don't think it will qualify though. - 7/10 16. A very fun track, not sure it will qualify though. - 7/10 17. Didn't expect an entry like this from this country, but here it is! Very fun! - 7/10 18. Great beat to the track, not typically BJ but pretty good. - 7/10 19. Nice track, if a little bit dull. One of the tracks I'm not sure on, it could qualify but it might not - and I can see it growing on me a bit - 6.5/10 20. More variety, this is a unique track and I think it will qualify. - 6/10 21. Love the beat, the vocals are a bit iffy though. - 5/10 22. A bit repetitive and might get lost in the crowd. Good enough though. - 5/10 23. Sounds like a grower, not overly keen or repulsed on first listen though. - 5/10 24. A bit dull for me, I can see this getting lost in the crowd easily. - 4/10 Semi 2 1. Beautiful track, there's no way this will qualify though... :( - 10/10 2. It's half BJ friendly and half not, in two minds as to whether it will do well or not... - 9.5/10 6. Sooo generic, I love it and you can't be too generic for BJSC so this will do well. - 9/10 7. Definitely stands out in this semi, I think it will deffo qualify and give the country behind it another top 10. - 9/10 8. One of the best on the album this is from, a lovely slice of pop! - 9/10 9. Love the artist behind this, could be a bit better but they do make it very good, and I love the beat! - 9/10 10. Brilliant artist, this is a great song I knew about for ages and I really hope it does well! - 8/10 11. This will deffo be a dark horse in the contest, it will appeal to the indie and pop voters in equal measure ^_^ - 8/10 12. Great discovery, the melody is similair to a song I love! - 8/10 13. Good song, and I'm sure it's great on loud to dance to. Don't think it will qualify though. - 7.5/10 14. Not bad, but given the artist, I expected to like this so much more, it's the weakest I've heard from them so far :( - 7/10 15. Nice happy track, if a bit too 'safe' and I'm not sure it will qualify. - 7/10 16. As with 13, this artist is capable of so much more! - 7/10 17. Again, love this artist so not surprised I like it, but it's a bit boring and might fall into the background a bit. - 7.5/10 18. Nice change of direction in the semi, I think this could surprise people! - 7/10 19. Nice enough track, a bit bland though. It won't qualify either. - 5/10 20. Wtf? - 4/10 21. Pretty dull, really not BJSC material. Can't see it qualifying at all. - 3.5/10 22. Also wtf. - 3/10 23. Another dull track, and very BJSC unfriendly. - 2.5/10 :P

July 27, 201113 yr I know Liam does really like my track, so I'd say #2 as I thought he might try and send it, or #3 as being a ballad can be a barrier in BJSC right, but I don't think it fits 'absoulute tune'. I'd say #7 if it wasn't for the last part, I think I only have two top 10s and 'another' makes it sound like they've had more. #9 is perhaps the last one I can see Pia being.

July 27, 201113 yr Semi Final 1 12 points: The background music reminds me of Snow Patrol's You Could Be Happy, which is a good thing in my book. A song that stuck out from the beginning; the emotive vocals (when they explode in the last minute I get genuine goosebumps), the heartfelt and earnest chorus and the lyrics themselves are wonderful; one in particular is one of my favourites I've heard for a while. A few tears were shed. 10 points: No one can seem to decide on this in the odds, and I fear it will get overlooked, but the song is beautiful. I think that's the best word to describe it; lyrically the best of the lot and the acoustic melody was refreshing and wonderfully dreamy. It was close to getting 12 points at one point, and I would hate for it to DNQ. The person who entered this is now responsible for two of my favourite discoveries. 08 points: Probably the most talked about of the contest so far, while I loved it on first listen, my enthusiasm has cooled a bit when re-listening. Flows very well, and the chorus is grand; a downbeat, haunting song. 07 points: Distinct, throaty female vocals and great beat and chorus. I've got a lot of love for this track. 06 points: I am unsure whether I think this is merely good or top points material. The production is great, but I find the chorus slightly grating, then the last odd minute happens and I'm thinking why the hell I am not giving it my 12!? Ultimately though, I don't like it as much as the ones that came higher. 05 points: My favourite foreign language song of the semi, fantastic song and the middle 8 is *.* for some reason, I get a Natasha Bedingfield vibe from the last bit in the midde 8 as well. 04 points: Retro, cheeky, fun. It's grown so much on repeat listens that it's gone from being a non-contender for points to me thinking given more time it could be my favourite song in the whole damn thing. I'm sure this will be in the final though, so it could be getting more points from me there. 03 points: Great dance/pop song, another song that grows with each listen. Rather anthemic actually - when I blast this I get swept away. If this gets through, it could also be getting more points from me in the final. 02 points: I'm unsure of what to say for this song, it's downbeat dance with a great middle 8. I grew bored on repeat listens, so it's fallen a couple of places to the growers. 01 point: Another grower that I dismissed as cack at first; I was uncertain whether this, or one other song, should get the last point; but while I think the other one might need it more, I find this to be too much of an unresistable pop/dance song to ignore, and that breakdown/middle 8 makes me confident I'm making the right decision.
