I'd be gutted going from Lost to The CW.

LOVING that poster, certainly the show I'm most looking forward to.

 

Apparantly Ioan Gruffudd had never heard of The CW before the show got switched from CBS. I know the ratings are low, but is that seriously possible, people don't even know of it? But hopefully this will be their biggest hit, even bigger than The Vampire Diaries.

ANTM is the best The CW have had tbh.

ANTM should of been sent to TV hell ages ago. It's a joke now. None of the models they find end up becoming "top models".

Has Top Model ever produced a successful model? I know the Australian version has produced a couple of them but isn't the American one basically one big vanity project for Tyra Banks to try and convince the world that she's a sought-after model?

One of them became an actress. She was in The Kids Are All Right last year, Ya-Ya I think she's called? :unsure:

Actually there's another one called Analeigh Tipton who's in Julianne Moore's new film Crazy Stupid Love and she's supposed to be quite decent in it. But my point stands. None of them have become supermodels!

Tyra is not the best mentor anyway personally. She was earlier on. She became more of a bitch in each series.

Elle mcphearson has been a bit bitchy on the UK one but it doesn't rub off as Arrogant

YaYa also featured in an episode of Body of Proof, playing the murderer *.* Considering she is from cycle 2, which aired like 47 years ago, she's good at not giving up! Oh and she also had a role in 'Tron: The Legacy' iirc.

Actually many of them did have very successful careers as models, some in Europe, some in Asia, mostly editorial and commercial success though. Of course each and every winner was never going to become a 'supermodel'. :/ Ann Ward has the most potential I would say, we could see her somewhere in the future (she won cycle 15 which wasn't so long ago).

 

I've watched shows of the latest Paris fashion week and models there literally feature in at least half of the collections. Same about males. They are all SO good on a runway, it'd be really hard to top them, and catwalk is always the weakest spot of almost all of the Model contestants.

People actually LIKE ANTM? OKKKKKKKK.

 

That said I really can't wait for 'Ringer'. Anything that brings the goddess incarnate that is SMG back to our screens is welcome. I do fear for it though on The CW, but I guess it's the best shot it has of having a good run as long as it doesn't tank on lift off (which I highly doubt).

I agree too. I think she actually looks older than she is.

She was never exactly the most traditionally beautiful but I think she looks pretty good. I'd say she could pass for 31 or 32.

 

Seems this has been picked up by Sky Living in the UK and will start soon after the US airing.

So this begins tonight in the USA. Will anybody be watching?
