Posted July 31, 200618 yr Fellow cancer sufferer Anastacia reached out to Kylie during her battle with the disease, she has revealed. The 37-year-old US songstress said she wanted the call to be personal. "I put a call into Kylie's people. I made sure that I said the things I needed to say to her, the way that I needed to say them to her, so I could give her support," she said. "So I think she knows my comments and I'd rather them be personal instead of letting everybody know what I have said. But I did, and I have reached out to Kylie," the singer said. Anastacia discovered she had breast cancer in January 2003. She subsequently established a fund through the Breast Cancer Research Fund to promote awareness of breast cancer amongst younger women. She returned back to the studio the following September to record her self-titled album. "We are all fighters," she said. Aussie superstar Kylie is also planning a comeback after treatment. The pop princess' UK comeback gigs in January next year sold out in just six minutes. Two further shows were then announced for January 5 and 6 and the demand was so great that the venue's computer system crashed. Promoters have now added two final dates for January 8 and 9. The shows will be the last of Kylie's Showgirl Homecoming Tour. Doesn't say whether Kylie said anything in return though...
