I haven't listened to it in ages either, so it sounded quite fresh hence it's high entry :D 19 - It is a very nice track and given the tragic events that took place, it's really quite poignant. 27 - Yeah, I'm the same when it comes to German songs. LaFee's Ich Bin was a recent favourite, but I got bored of that quite quickly :lol: . Klee's Berge Versetzen is my favourite German track though. 46 - It's very 2007, and I did like quite a lot of urban-pop tracks back then. The beauty of having no chart rules whatsoever :lol: I'm surprised it was never sent to BJSC, I really think it could have been a winner/runner-up... 27. Not heard that one - shall youtube it when I get a psare moment! Some of my other favourites include Esiblumen by Eisblume and a few Ich + Ich songs. 46. I think it's from as recent as last year so nice to see that it doesn't have that 'club banger' sound. I like it too. 49. It is one of the number ones I regret :lol: 46 - Yeah, the three songs we did veto were never going to make it through. 60 - I liked Headlines, but Stay The Night was by far and away their best offering into MF.

It is one of the number ones I regret :lol: 46 - Yeah, the three songs we did veto were never going to make it through. 60 - I liked Headlines, but Stay The Night was by far and away their best offering into MF. 27. I can't imagine why :heehee: I only regret about 5 of my #1's out of the 250 odd, Gigi D'agostino's Bla Bla Bla in 2000 was one, there were a few from 2007 - although the begining and end of that year were amazing, the summer was DIRE and threw up some very undeserving chart toppers - a Gwen Stefani song that's very good but not approaching her best (yet was her only #1 in my chart!), a Take That b-side and a Missy Higgins album track :lol: And then the 5th one was The Highest Heights by Lovebugs which whilst a great song, I should have let Malena Ernman's La Voix in for a week instead of that, instead the latter was a massive #2 and the former was a very small #1. I guess Nadine's Insatiable topping my chart last year isn't exactly one I look back on fondly either :kink: 60. Agreed, such an A class pop song :wub: Headlines has its merits - the verses and bridge in particular but the chorus isn't that great in keeping with the rest of the song.

I'm coming up to 450 #1's, and looking back at them, the ones that stick out for the wrong reasons are: Toy-Box - Tarzan & Jane - I went wild over this for about a week, it's absolutely awful to listen to now :lol: Brainstorm - My Star - The Eurovision effect mixed with it being a very poor year resulted in this topping the chart. Hermes House Band - Que Sera Sera - This one stayed at the top for 3 weeks :drama: Blondie - Good Boys - I loved this at the time, but it sounds very weak now Xavier - Give Me The Night - Very random #1, I liked it a lot but it shouldn't have been a chart topper LostAlone - Unleash The Sands Of All Time - Scremo rock :lol: It had a good beat though. Kleiner Hai feat. Alemuel - Kleiner Hai (Dim Dim...) - Yeah... Gera - Where Are You? - I discovered both this and Kleiner Hai in the same edition of The Countdown. Really liked this entry for Belarus at the time, but it doesn't do much for me now.
