First plays are on The Chart show 365 Been watching but it hasn't been on yet.

Nic posted this.

Not sure it will hit the TV today then as previous exclusives have been exclusive to the internet only with TV plays following a few days after.

Will Young – Jealousy Video

Will Young’s latest video, Jealousy, is perhaps one of the saddest and most poignant of his career. He plays part of a trapeze act with another guy and a girl, but he is in love with the guy (who is conspicuously handsome – I’m sure Will had fun casting for that) who is more interested in the girl. Every gay guy has been there – you can’t help who you develop feelings for, gay or straight. We all have those unrequited stories to tell, mostly from our days at high school and oh how we suffered! It does make you wonder if Young’s fame is having a detrimental effect on his love life – his music has been getting a lot darker lately (Let It Go was about the painful end of a relationship). I can’t imagine how difficult it is to be famous and gay and meet someone. Perhaps one day he will give it all up and find love and live on a farm.

What a lovely music video if you ask me. Not only does it paint Will Young in a new light from his mumsy-safe and Tesco ready, but perfectly enjoyable pop music, "Jealousy" actually portrays Will Young as gay man with actual feelings - I think a lot of readers of EQ can relate to that. The work here is more honest and when that happens, it really strengthens an artist and for that I take my hat off to you Will Young.

After seeing "Jealousy" - i'm now VERY excited for his "Echoes" album slated for release on August 22nd. What I thought would be just another Will Young album, there is now suddently a whole new layer of depth and it's intensely fascinating...

Will is back with new single (and delightfully homoerotic video) ‘Jealousy’. It’s out on August 21st, and new album ‘Echoes’ is out the following day. It’s been a long wait…

Brilliant reviews.

Think Will said on one of the radio interviews it's about professional jealousy but it is very open to other interpretations.

Thanks to Willnut

Chart Show says it will be on at 1pm and again on 1st Play Friday

Can't wait to see it on the big screen.

I'm just so pleased Will has so much creative input & doesn't release the same old generic videos most pop artists do.

Edited by truly talented

'Artistic Jealousy'? Pah! he wants him and he can't have him is what it's about. :P

Video breakdown: William Young ~ Jealousy

Will Young Not only is it Friday, but there is a new William of the Young video to enjoy :) Mazel tov! I've watched it a few times now and I have to say it may well end up in my top three William videos of all time (the others being Your Game and Switch It On). For those of you that can't view the video here is my frame by frame breakdown of this very excellent visual piece to accompany an increasingly excellent piece of music. Arise Sir William of Pop. You have valiantly returned :)

•William is having a wander around some dodgy looking industrial estate, the type where you can probably rent a girl by the hour. He offsets him grim surroundings with a nice mac, a snazzy outfit and an on-fashion quiff. I love a good quiff, me...

•I think he's stalking some hoody on his way to Circus school. He has a good look at Hoody's bottom as he moseys up to where he's heading. And a very nice bottom it is too. Good choice William :)

•We are now at Circus School. William may be a tad overdressed so soon kits off down to a tank top and flowing wrap type thing. He looks all forlorn as he watches possibly Nicola Roberts in a spinning hoop in the air :)

•Other people do stuff that is far too technical and muscly for me to attempt, but it all looks very impressive...

•A very limber blonde girl comes gliding up to the camera while Possibly Nicola Roberts continues spinning in the background (this is not WonderWoman in disguise as she would've changed into her costume by now with all that spinning). There really should be a 3D version of this as Limber Blonde Girl would literally pop right out of your computer screen...

•William spends most of verse two mooning over Foxy Stalked Guy who is throwing impressive shapes with Limber Blonde Girl. Foxy Stalked Guy has some amazing rippling muscles that make you go a bit funny in your trouser department. Limber Blonde Girl obviously agrees because they share a tender moment post throwing shapes. Is all hope lost for William?

•Possibly not. Mid tender moment, Foxy Stalked Guy breaks the gaze and has a goosy gander over at what William is doing. Limber Blonde Girl is not happy...

•William starts to warm up on the trapeze. He is very good, nice lines, etc. He then has an argument with his coach who looks a bit like a sozzled Captain Birdseye. William does the classic "forget you then" movement with his hands. It oddly makes me yearn for a second series of Bedlam...

•There's a bit of a creepy moment where William lurks in the shadows watching Limber Blonde Girl apply some blusher before she pops off for a costume run through of her Throwing Shapes with Foxy Stalked Guy.

•Incredibly Foxy Stalked Guy and William of Young both manage to achieve the impossible - they make lycra body suits look vaguely alluring.

•It's the actual performance now. Foxy Stalked Guy and William share a brief moment before Foxy Stalked Guy throws himself off onto the trapeze, leaving William hungry for more. This could be a visual representation of Foxy Stalked Guy telling William that he himself needs to make a similar leap if he is to woo the object of his affections. Or I could just be reading too much into it!

•I think I have read too much into this as it all ends quite sadly with William along and Foxy Stalked Guy mincing off with Limber Blonde Girl. Bah. Poor William...:(

There is now a pleasing on the eye music video to go with the warm ear cuddle that is Will Young's Jealousy http://vevo.ly/oehdba

And I agree about this one - emotive without being "in your face" - it's been a long time coming hasn't it:

stephengearley Steve earley

Without going all PRIDE about it, it is refreshing to see one man pining after another man in a pop video. Nicely done @will_young31

And I agree about this one - emotive without being "in your face" - it's been a long time coming hasn't it:

Yes...and I'm loving it  i keep watching it..it's really beautiful. It seems to be getting positive responses all over the place too.

Hi Happiness1

From The SUN..

Bendy Will tries acrobatics

NOT many men would voluntarily wear lycra.

But singer Will Young plumps for some revealing white numbers in the acrobatic-themed video to his comeback single Jealousy.

Not that Will is one to stick with convention.

It's now been almost ten years since Will made his mark with Simon Cowell in Pop Idol in 2001.

Jealousy is the lead single to be taken from forthcoming album Echoes, which is his fifth album in a career spawning over eight million sales so far.

The clip sees Young rehearsing for an acrobatic routine, while seemingly lusting over a fellow cast member who shows romantic interest in someone else.

He climbs a rope ladder before trying his hand on a trapeze.
