And a Stocktonian here! ;)

Ahem, southerner here but born in Yorkshire and parents hailed from Geordie Land so can I be an honorary northerner!

I don't really get listen to the radio that often but why the change with Will? R1 used to be big supporters and I'm surprised at their lack of support. Very odd and I wonder how they justify it. Sure it's not just Will by the way so not being paranoid.

Think you have the right qualifications.

I may be wrong butI think it was only SIO that received any real support from radio 1 Lainey. When Will won Pop Idol it wasn't seen cool for them to suppport talent show winners. X Factor contestants have had it so much easier, though I thnk the tide may be turning.

It's Capital that have done the U turn supporting all Will's music right up to Changes. Both these stations are driven by the the singles chart & once an artist fails to have a huge single they seem to discard them. It isn't just Will.

I suppose I remember all the CM interviews on R1 and the live lounge stuff - which was superb every time. Just seems odd they can recognise his talent in that context but not support his music. Particularly with this release! Must be very constricting for them to only play what's considered cool - particlarly when we know that doesn't always equal quality!
Think you have the right qualifications.

I've been there :D years ago mind and Easington too.

Still got relatives in Crook, Darlington and Sedgefield .

Blimey, talk about off topic, but no harm done.

Me mam hails from Ashington, another pit village and my dad was from Hetton le Hole. Always loved that name! Seriously off topic - sorry!

I was born and brought up in Seaham, another mining community in Co. Durham.

My mam was born in Washington and had family in Sunderland and Seaham. I spent quite a few years in the Summer staying with my great aunt and uncle in their pit bungalow at Seaham.

Aw the memories!

Then mam came to work in Middlesbrough, met my dad who was a Darlingtonian and here I've been since.

Bet you're all asleep now!

Will's great isn't he! Back on topic. :P

Thanks to Julie (Will4me) for these lovely comments from the video makers for Jealousy.

Will Young’s ethereal dance ballad Jealousy gets a tale of unrequited love from Diamond Dogs, beautifully shot by Will Bex.

Diamond Dogs:

“One of the spectacular joys of music video is that every now and then two worlds collide. In this case, Diamond Dogs and producer Gareth Thomas had to brush up on the world of acrobatics and circus skills.

“They chose to work with high level hand to hand acrobats Nathan and Isis alongside artists on the flying trapeze. These incredibly committed and hard working athletes were joined by the funny, fit and fabulous Will Young. So although the shoot was a long and physically challenging one for everyone involved – working with such consummate professionals from both worlds made it one of the most enjoyable and rewarding shoots we have experienced in ages”.
