August 3, 201113 yr Boo at the lack of love for Lil' Wayne! He's incredible! Apart from that though, I quite like seeing how us two (and triangletriangletriangle often) have been the only voters for certain artists. Haha. Kele/Kanye for top two please (I can dream). Ha, I have been finding that quite amusing and then being slightly disappointed when random posters crash our party! I knew you'd be disappointed with my Lil Wayne comment as well, but I just can't see the attraction anywhere! I just look at his face and have to stop listening. That is also my ideal top two now, oh dear! Edited August 3, 201113 yr by 152chris
August 4, 201113 yr Mika is incredible. Such good pop on his first album, and his second album is very good in parts too, in places better. Timbaland is an excellent producer when he gets the material right, and MCR can be amazing in places. Mostly fairly good artists in this region, anyways.
August 4, 201113 yr Shame Ryan Tedder and Danny from The Script didn't get Top 40. But I'm glad Adam Lambert is still to come, hope he is top 30!

August 5, 201113 yr Not commented for a while! Nice to see Lil' Wayne and Pitbull but :puke: at Cee-Lo, truly awful! I've only liked 2 of his songs, both duets! Please (ft. Selah Sue), which I only liked because of it being included on her album and Lil' Star with Kelis which he barely sings on anyway  I don't know what it is, I just can't stand him! Shame Mika fell too, I really enjoyed both his albums!

August 5, 201113 yr Author At 37, it's someone i'm surprised wasn't on last year's list..... http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/KellyJones.jpg 37 Kelly Jones (99pts) Stats Votes: 5 (Regina, Chart Wizard, Lukuzz, KathyP, Charli) Highest Position: 1st (Charli) Top Ten Finishes: 4 (Regina, Chart Wizard, Lukuzz, Charli) LastFM Plays: 426,372 (solo) 24,104,119 (with Sterophonics) 24,530,491 (All Together) Karate Kicks: None BMAS History: XX-37 Personal Opinion: Another one I'm not sure why I omitted, should think about these things more clearly :drama: "Bio: Kelly Jones (born 3 June 1974) is a Welsh musician, lyricist, and lead singer of the band Stereophonics. He lived in the former pit village of Cwmaman, near Aberdare, where he became friends with neighbours, Stuart Cable (former drummer of the Stereophonics),and Richard Jones (bass guitarist and no relation). Eventually the trio formed a covers band together which went by the name Tragic Love Company. A perceptive lyricist, Kelly considered being a scriptwriter before being a musician. At this time, the BBC showed an interest in some of his early work but as the band progressed from a covers band to writing their original material, Kelly decided to use his narrative side more towards writing lyrics. In 1997 the band (now renamed to Stereophonics) released their debut album Word Gets Around which documents much of his early life including his account of his teen years on a market stall wryly documented in More Life In A Tramps Vest. After their second album (Performance & Cocktails) and prior to release of 2001’s Just Enough Education To Perform, Kelly Jones toured the UK on his own in late 2000 previewing the new material and playing classic tracks. This tour was extremely well received though never repeated until 2007. As of March 2007, Kelly has released his first solo album, Only The Names Have Been Changed, and is about to embark on a short solo tour of the UK once again. However this does not signal the end of the Stereophonics who are expected to release their 6th album later in the year. " RCZxS277oD4
August 5, 201113 yr Author At 36, a genuine legend taking a tumble :(..... http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy90/Matthew_Bridgehouse/StevieWonder.jpg 36 Stevie Wonder (100pts) 21 Stats Votes: 5 (Leonardo, Trulytalented, Suggy, KathyP, Sunday) Highest Position: 3 (KathyP) Top Ten Finishes: 5 (Leonardo, Trulytalented, Suggy, KathyP, Sunday) LastFM Plays: 19,267,856 Karate Kicks: None BMAS History: 15-36 Personal Opinion: Amazing, brilliant all-rounder, singing, production, pianist, songwriting, made some utterly brilliant songs "Bio: Stevie Wonder (b. 1950) is a U.S. singer, songwriter, producer, and musician. Born on 13th May 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan, he was originally called Stevland Hardaway Judkins, later changed his surname to Morris, but is better known by his stage name of Stevie Wonder. His mother’s biography states that his surname was legally changed to Morris, “an old family name”, in 1961 when he signed with Motown. Wonder has recorded more than thirty top-ten hits, won twenty-two Grammys (the most ever won by a solo artist), including one Lifetime Achievement Award, and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll and Songwriters halls of fame. Blind from infancy, Wonder signed with Motown Records at the age of eleven and has become one of the most successful and well-known artists on the label, with nine U.S. number-one hits to his name, thirty-five U.S. albums - twenty-eight major studio releases - and album sales totalling more than seventy-two million units. He has recorded several critically acclaimed albums and hit singles, and writes and produces songs for many of his labelmates and outside artists. A multi-instrumentalist, Wonder plays the drums, guitar, synthesisers, congas, and most famously the piano, harmonica, and keyboards. His contribution to worldwide social and political change is just as impressive, with Wonder championing the effort to make Martin Luther King’s birthday a national holiday, as well as becoming a driving force behind 1985’s USA for Africa campaign. "Bio: James Morrison (born James Morrison Catchpole in 1984) is a singer/songwriter from Rugby, Warwickshire, England. He says that his musical influences include Al Green, Otis Redding, Cat Stevens and The Kinks. At 13 Morrison began to learn guitar when his uncle showed him how to play a blues riff. He started busking when he lived at Porth near Newquay, in Cornwall. After years of playing other musicians’ songs, he eventually started to write his own. Polydor Productions took charge and signed him. He became the supporting artist for Corinne Bailey Rae on her tour supporting her debut album. In 2006 he debuted with his single You Give Me Something which became a hit single around Europe and Japan. It reached the #2 spot in Holland and the #5 spot in the UK. And James proves that he isn’t a one-hit-wonder - his debut album Undiscovered went straight to #1 in the UK and has sold more than 2,000,000 copies world wide. The second single released from the album is “Wonderful World,” which has already been a top 10 hit in the UK reaching the #8 spot. It was announced that Morrison’s first single from his third album, The Awakening”, will be “I Won’t Let You Go,” and will be released on September 19, 2011 (I Won’t Let You Go Songfacts)).
