August 13, 201113 yr Author I'm going to see Human League in four hours. I've waited this moment for probably like 15 years.. Are they good live?
August 13, 201113 yr I'm going to see Human League in four hours. I've waited this moment for probably like 15 years.. Are they good live? I've seen them live twice - umm.... it's a bit of an occasion, but Susanne and Joanne won't be giving Moyet or Lennox any worries in the vocals department any day soon, I'll say that much ;)
August 14, 201113 yr Author Haha that's so true! But it was pretty damn good otherwise. They didn't play Human though but it was only a festival gig (1hour+).
August 19, 201113 yr Talking Heads a guilty favourite? Nahh.... I'm a very proud Talking Heads fan, me..... although I'm not too keen on And She Was or Road to Nowhere.
August 20, 201113 yr Talking Heads a guilty favourite? Nahh.... I'm a very proud Talking Heads fan, me..... although I'm not too keen on And She Was or Road to Nowhere. Do people really understand guilty pleasures? Here's some that I like but I know they're naff: K2Ck38Cl474 wXSTe9YMCKo
August 20, 201113 yr Author Two great tracks there! I totally love Taylor Dayne's Tell It to My Heart And just wrote reviewes about Don't Stop Believin' and Kids in America for a website, they have a countdown of best songs of 81. I feel like I'm reborn as an 80s teenager lol
August 21, 201113 yr Do people really understand guilty pleasures? Here's some that I like but I know they're naff: Why are they "naff"? They're both really well-constructed songs, and both still sound really good all these years on.
August 21, 201113 yr Why are they "naff"? They're both really well-constructed songs, and both still sound really good all these years on. naff as in unfashionable, forgotten, people going "huh?" if you say them. And Guilty Pleasures are all about context anyway.
