Didn't they go international last year for the last challenge? LA. Red Carpet? Erm. They could have just done a regular red carpet challenge during the season and done something a little more interesting for this challenge.

 

Anyway.

 

Kelly: Glad she said Katy Perry/VMAs because that was not a traditional Red Carpet dress like the rest of them. I thought it was amazing! Good for her in thinking outside of the box and making something that I could actually see a celebrity wearing.

Candice: Safe but beautiful. Should have been floor length but really great none the less.

Ashley: That strap cheapened the dress quite a bit. Wasn't a fan of the sequin, but I did like the color, I really just wish that she would have used a different fabric.

Edmond: God I hope Tim doesn't use his save after that disaster. I actually liked the sequin more than Ashley's, the colors were great but that dress was hideous and reminiscent of a Ice Skaters outfit.

 

Why are they doing a Runway next week if it's "Final 3". There's no elimination to take place, Tim travelling around should be enough feedback. Ugh, I really think based on the ending of that last episode that Tim does actually use his save on Edmond. I'll be honest, I think holistically Edmond is more deserving of a spot at Fashion Week over Ashley so I wouldn't be 100% upset if it did happen.

just caught up on this season and i've been so in love w kelly since day one i was DYING the whole episode thinking she wasn't gonna make it thru. she has to winnnn.

 

and judging by some plus size runway looks circling the internet a certain one of the 3 certainly wont be challenging her for it.

f***ing edmond. won a couple of commercial challenges and they are now loving him so much. he's pretty non innovative for a project runway winner. i don't remember anything THAT good from him all season.

It was good to see Ashley finally get, probably, the best feedback of them all. Really gunning for her to win as I honestly don't like anyone else's so far. Edmond's in particular is shockingly ugly, candice's is too over the top and Kelly's just looks tacky.

Ashley's collection looks like a complete snoozefest. Love Candice's and Kelly's too. Kelly's styling is so on point but, I agree, she needs to make those clothes look a bit more expensive somehow.

I remember Michelle's two Back to Back home visits from her Regular Season than All-Stars where she traded up her Husband or Boyfriend or whatever, hahaha.

 

Ashley's Home Visit: Plus size, on the right track. But.... Baby Pink? Are you f***ing serious?

Sure, this color is going to be flattering on a plus size women, but her collection looks matronly.

When I think Plus Size Model, I think of Whitney from ANTM. Where's the Black? Where's the Leather? Where's the Sex Appeal?

This is just god awful. I'm shocked that Tim is so receptive to this. This is what Plus Size Women would wear when they don't know how to dress themselves.

I do f***ing love the head pieces tho.

 

Tim Cooking? f***ing classic. He's such an amazing guy.

 

Candice's Home Visit: Tim on the Beach. Candice's Kids and Mom's sob story. How cute.

Holy Crap. Everything looks amazing.

That Leather Kimono is sexy as hell.

The Red's and the Leather is amazing.

Not sure if I agree the Drag Queen comment, but, it does need some editing for sure for her final piece.

This collection looks like it could be a winner however.

Edmond's Home visit: It already looks like he has 2039239584 pieces done. Shocker.

This is all very expected from Edmond.

That being said, the judges seem to love the mainstream dresses, this will probably read very well.

Contender to win. I hate to say it, other than the hideous Dark Blue Silk Balloon Dress, everything looks very well made.

In regards to the Runway:

 

Ashley: Clearly was slaughtered a little less than the other three. Yes, it had the most cohesion, but that's expected since it was pretty much the same fabric and two of the items were identical colors. Note to the judges: You're not going to understand a cohesive collection when you're only seeing less than 20% of the contestants work. Ashley needs to work on her fit issues and perhaps ditch some of her headpieces. I do love them, but Nina is right.. it's a clothing competition, not a Accessories competition.

 

Candace: I still stand by the fact I think she has the strongest final collection. The red outfit stood out for all the wrong reasons but I think it fits into her overall collection. I would disagree with the judges, I don't think her items boarder on Costume at all.

 

Kelly: Ack, I'm sorry, I do want Kelly to win but I'm just not inspired at all. Her items were not memorable at all. She has a lot of work to do.

 

Edmond: LOL Fail. Wow, his items were hideous and not sexy AT ALL. That ruffle dress was the worst thing he's probably ever done. I would have thought by now that tightly fitting clothing does NOT equate to sexy.

 

I think if they all take the judges critiques to heart, they all stand a chance of doing well. But, somehow, I still see Candace and Edmond as the front runners. However Edmond has a lot of work to do. Really I think the next episode will have a lot to do on who the 4th/Final Judge is. If they bring in someone random that won't really have a say, than it's an open game. However, if they bring someone like Michael Kors who the judges will actually LISTEN to and would have an appropriate say, I think it's still going to be between Candice and Edmond.

It was obvious Ashley is the winner. Oh well. Some of her looks were great and the collection is very cohesive and powerful overall. I really get it.

 

Kelly coming second was so f***ing heartbreaking. I almost cried. She's amazing.

Yeah, that edit from Minute 1 of that final episode was so obvious that she was going to win.

Good job to KELLY FROM THE DELI BEING FINAL 2.

Very pleased with that winner. Her collection really was the best. And she deserved it for how mean the other designers had been throughout. I get the impression the judges were not WOW'd by any of the collections, though.

DAYMN Girl. I just saw Swapnil's NYFW Collection. Had he not been eliminated he would have won for sure.

That leather jacket and long skirt look is hot.

ugh seeing kelly come 2nd KILLED me. idk how deserving ashley rly was tbh.... her stuff was really nice but none of it blew me away as much as i wanted it to, esp as a plus size collection. it was basically just 10 crop tops and skirts.

 

also was anyone really that mean to her this season ??? i feel that was just a producer's attempt at creating a lame storyline.

I enjoyed the reunion but boy did it make me mad. Kelly, Candice, Amanda and the one with glasses all showed themselves to be denfensive, jealous bitches. Kudos to Laurie for sticking up for Ashley.

I liked Laurie, but being the loudest girl in a catfight isn't a qualitable trait.

If memory serves me correctly, it was a schoolyard pick, Laurie, as much as anyone else had the opportunity to pick Ashley and passed.

Relationships prevailed over talent, clearly.. but it's not a Girl vs Girl argument.. it's a Relationship vs Talent issue.

 

Laurie's just taking the chance to jump on the "We Love Ashley" bandwagon - must be lonely, Ashley isn't a very reputable winner.

Yes! I watched half of it and just skipped to the past where Kelly won the 25k <3 She's amazing. I don't think any contestant grew so much on me before in the course of the series! She seemed like a surefire bottom 4 material at the beginning!

 

I feel like doing a Project Runway rate but like 5 people will only participate :'(

 

Anyway, as for PR Junior.

 

Despite looking raw and slightly unfinished Samantha's outfit was insane! I could tell from the first moment I would be rooting for her. Amazing!
