Thanks TT..is the event something to do with Cowell? :P

About JLS, I noticed with Olly and now Leona they seem to be going back to the two singles release before the album strategy that they had a few years ago.

I see Cher Lloyd sold around 66k last week...there were flyers and posters galore for her all over the place, so it's fair to say the outlay far exceeded the returns, so far at least.

Yes it probably did SWF, her clothes and make- up and her hair extention stylists alone will have cost treble that.

Radio2 has just played No Doubt "Don't Speak" I forgot how much I used to love this song and video.

Great track suggy. Always preferred Gwen in No Doubt. Her solo material was a bit wacky!

Yes it was, it all went downhill with those Harajuku Girls in my opinion  and Sweet Escape and Hollaback Girl did my eardrums in nearly as much Cher Lloyd does.

Nicola Roberts from GA and best singer from the group IMO has a second single due and it's another duff one! winds me up..why have they made her voice sound so grating when it isn't and why send her to the US for the video when it still looks like it cost a fiver?

Thats a great track Suggy i loved that, and the one where they were on skidoo's cant remember the name. yes i totally agree when Gwen went solo think she kind of lost the plot a bit. the banana ana ana song did my bonce. seen her on tv doing a concert, shes a great performer, gives the audience everything she's got.

Phil you can only post the link to YouTube. To actually put the video on here (or any other forum) you have to convert the clip to another format.
This article says that Susan Boyle is earned 18million pounds..what a big steaming pile  also apparently Will Hasn't earned any money for about five years then? poor Will.. ^_^

Thanks phil. Great how it stresses Will's money has been made from his singing & acting & not endorsements & & tv deals.

They probably don't know the half of it - it's all guesswork. It doesn't take into account all his investments etc. etc. His personal disposable income is probably far less than that but I dare say he's comfortably off

A bit about after X factor for some acts on the link..but found this bit about Leon Jackson interesting ..good on him for trying to make the music he wants the way he wants and nice Will Mention too.:D

LEON JACKSON 2007 - WINNER

Leon Jackson was crowned winner in 2007 under mentor Dannii Minogue and had the Christmas No1 that year with When You Believe.

Simon Cowell had his doubts about Leon's ability through the competition and backed runner-up Rhydian Roberts to win the final.

Leon, from Whitburn, West Lothian, released just one album, Right Now, which reached No3 and sold 130,000 copies.

The 22-year-old was dropped by his record label in 2009 and has been without a deal since then.

Leon now divides his time between Scotland, London and LA as he writes material for his new, acoustic-driven sound.

His live gigs included a guest appearance at this year's Watchet Live Festival in Somerset.

He also has 36,000 Twitter followers.

Leon says he is not bitter about being axed by Cowell's company after X Factor.

He added: "It's not like I won't speak to Simon now.

I'm not annoyed like that. It was part of my clichéd 'journey' and it was meant to land me here.

"Some of my new songs maybe reflect the journey I've been on.

"I had to go through what I did to be where I am now.

"I had to start over and feel happier and it helped me to understand and learn the things I needed to be liberated and fulfilled.

"It's all about personal fulfilment for me as an artist - like Will Young after Pop Idol. Musical integrity has led him to have a career."

Anyone else see Shayne Ward on Loose Women?

The guy actually does have a personality. :o He came across really well now Cowell is no longer scripting his interviews.

I didnt see that Gill, he did seem a nice guy, but he said silly things in the beginning, like the fact that he would do anything to stay famous, i liked him on x factor, loved his rendition of If youre not the one, but hated his pants material after and the fact that he was miming all over the place, if he had sung live and had decent material, i would have probably have bought his album, but since the autotunegate, i may not have in hindsight, i felt duped.

Did he sing Gill? has he got new music on the horison?

No he didn't sing but they showed a clip of his new song. Sorry but it's awful. He's jumped on the bandwagon of collaborating & sampling (King of my castle). He sounds auto-tuned to hell.
