Ivi Adamou is the first participant known, and was selected by the Cypriot broadcaster although the song is likely to be chosen through a national final.

This is one of her hits:

Really liking that on first listen so I wouldn't mind if the actual entry is quite similar.

Having watched a couple of her X Factor performances on youtube I think its safe to say she's not going to be going for a big vocal song. Still she's better than their last 2 entries already by virtue of being female. I know that's predictable but the last 2 male entries have been STONE BORE dirges.

I entered that into BJSC last October! (It got 0pts from Bignia :P :( ) Really glad she's been chosen to represent the nation, definitely one of the better artists that country has to offer!

I've loved quite a few recent Cypriot entries - Evridiki, Christina Metaxa and Jon Lilygreen, and 90% of the time I prefer female singers so it looks like I'll be liking the Cypriot entry again :D

My memory :drama:

Sorry Martin. I don't really have an explaination, maybe I just try to think more positivly because it's Eurovision. Perhaps my tastes have changed, but if it was only last October..

I agree with the above - Christina was one of my favourites back in 2009, and Jon wasn't too bad either. This year was terrible though, and so was 2008.

It's alright! I'm sure I've done something similar myself many times before! :D

Mikey moment there Jack! I love how people suddenly find something to be far better or far worse (depending on your preferences) when something gets the Eurovision tag! I've done it myself, I can't say that I was EVER particularly bothered by Blue before 2011 and suddenly I find myself revisiting - and liking a lot more - their past hits as a result of I Can. Very strange
A 'Mikey moment' awww. :( Is Mikey universally picked on then now by just about EVERYONE?!
He's well known for declaring his love for songs on the 'first listen' after he already gave them nul points in BJSC the month before!

Poor Jack though, having a Mikey Moment

Yes! I really like all 3!! Call the Police is my initial favourite - DUBSTEP BREAKDOWN

Here's all 3 songs (including the one posted above!)

Call The Police is still jsut my favourite, but La La Love is growing very quickly! You Don't Belong Here is great too, I think La La Love will do best in ESC though :D

Brilliant songs Cyprus

'Call The Police' is f***ing terrible.

I know the lyrics are pretty bad, but I like the chorus and the dubstep :D La La Love is nearly my favourite now though!
