I do love Loose, and it's one of those albums that when you put on, it makes you wanna do things like dance and stuff.

BUT, Folklore is a masterpiece- the lyrics, music, etc.

I love everything about Folklore (apart from Saturdays- sorry Ryan!)

I don't listen to "Loose" anymore at all tbh :S

Had "Folklore" on tonight, phenomenal. She's going to struggle to beat it for me [esp with her staying within the style she is now..]

I know what you mean.

It's one of those albums that won't be repeated by her again i think!

I agree, she will never beat Folklore in my eyes. :(

I hardly listen to Loose either, but Folklore always makes an appearance on my playlist now and again ^_^

So far I wasn't a huge Nelly fan but the song All good things changed all that !!!

It made me buy the albums Whoa Nelly and Folklore.

So far Folklore is favorite.

Ofcourse I already knew songs like Powerless and Try but hearing the other songs really made me

go WOW!!

Explode, Força, The grass is green and Childhood dreams are amazing

I have all the songs of Loose now too but I didn't buy the album -_-

Thanks Nicky, i'm glad you enjoyed the album

I'm going to write a Full Review Of Folkore soon :D

I love Folklore but it took a while to grow on me and for me to fully appreciate it, whereas Loose is obviously much more instant and commercial.

The Grass Is Green, Try and Build You Up are my favourites. I don't like Island Of Wonder, it's the only track I skip.

I love it, I bought it ages ago but I never listened to it, but I was bored the other night so I just put the album on my iPod and listened to it, it's such an amazing album, plus it's rather cheap now so if you haven't got it buy it!
I really haven't heard much of folklore but i think it will be amazing. :D

My Folklore Review:

1. One Trick Pony 9/10

The song itself is so simple, not many lyrics at all, but the music, vocals, and the simplicity of it, is just amazing  One Of My Favourite Nelly songs ever ^_^

2. Powerless (Say What You Want) 9/10

The Lyrics are kooky and meaningful, the music is extremely catchy, just an amazing upbeat Pop Song ^_^

3. Explode 10/10

Lyrically, this is Nelly's best. The Lyrics, are absolutely outstanding  Extremely catchy, vocals are excellent.

4. Try 10/10

Need i say anything? Beautiful, amazing and timeless  Especially near the end, when she really pushes her vocals, her best song vocally.

5. Fresh Off The Boat 8/10

The Lyrics are excellent, but to me it seems a little bit gimmiky, but i think its intented to be that way. Still extremely catchy

6. Forca 8/10

This is Catchy, but the lyrics arent that good, video was bland. But the Chorus is  very anthem-ish ^_^

7. Grass Is Green 10/10

Excellent  Lyrics are amazing. vocals are great, so many parts to the song too, very fresh, one of the best things she has produced.

8. Picture Perfect 8/10

The Verses in this are Excellent  just for me, the chorus lacks :( still very good ^_^

9. Saturdays 9/10

Not a favourite with many people at all  only playing for 2.05. Its short and sweet in my opinion, and the lyrics are great, the only bad thing about it, is the man who repeats after nelly at the end, he is quite weird

10. Build You Up 9/10

Lyrics  her vocals are stunning, its just the music on this one, that seems a little boring, still greatness, and chorus is excellent

11. Island Of Wonder - 6/10

No :( i dont like the vocals on this song at all, and the man featured, just spoils it for me. Lyrics are quite good though.

12. Childhood Dreams 10/10

One Of My Favourite Songs of all time   I can relate to it in so many ways, and the lyrics for me are extremely touching, the music is outstanding, vocals are stunning, its 6.35 minutes of sheer bliss

97/120

Great review
