#67 jealousy

Thanks.

What a success Jealousy has been. I see it has risen 5 places on the airplay chart this week.

35 40 15 67 Will Young Jealousy 1906 -6.57 22.32 4.01 RCA

If only Come On could have half it's support.

Yeah CO airplay is pretty aweful still not even top 50 a week before release, Grace was top 30 for 3 weeks before its release. It will be next week because of the A list on radio 2 but were are the commercial stations.

Any increase is welcome. :)

I'm not a great lover of Come On but was happy for it to be released because I thought it was radio friendly. Seems those who choose the playlists disagree. :(

I'm surprised at the poor airplay for Come On really , a lot of the stations are still playing Jealousy a lot though, Olly Murs new single seems to be having the same problem with stations playing his last one still, although he's nothing to worry about as he's got promo every week on X-factor plus a performance on there too. Forgot to say excellent news about Jealousy and Echoes.

I think Olly is doing really well considering how high on airplay his previous single is (#22) and his new video as over double the plays of Come on and almost double the radio plays that CO has.

Any increase is welcome. :)

I heard it on Radio 2 last week, and I thought it sounded great. :music: In fact I thought it sounded better than Jealousy. The commercial stations need a bomb.

We have sales for #31 tony Bennett. 8,193 sales so Echoes will be a little higher.

Will really needs a tv appearance to make any difference to the release next week. He's got Loose Women but whether that'll do much is anyone's guess.

I know Will says he wants to promote Echoes well into next year, but quite honestly, unless he's taken the album abroad, I don't know how he's going to do that. Once again, he seems to have a problem with radio stations showing interest in the second single. I don't know what he can do to change that because Come On, like Grace, is a good song.

I wonder what his plans for next year are if they've prevented him doing Bedlam or any other acting roles, 'cos I can't see much more happening here promotion wise, well not until the summer festivals anyway. ;)

Thanks Sunday. :)

I'll estimate 8.5k and add it to the album thread.

Echoes #34

9 new entries in front

New entries might drop so could climb.

But tony bennett (35) and soldiers (39) behind him they usually climb towards the end of the week.

Thanks Sunday. Lots released this week so 34 ain't too bad. Hope it can climb a few places.

Shocked at how low Pixie Lott is, although I do think she is vastly over-rated. Looking like another Duffy one album wonder. Pleased to see Snow Patrol holding off JLS too.

I think she's overrated too. Her first album was very slow taking off, I think it was that Cry Me Out took off on Radio 2 and seemed to hang around forever, that got her sales going.

Might buy a copy of Snow Patrol myself, I gather it's the 3.99 album on amazon.

Thanks for the midweeks Sunday.

Echoes up to #31

James morrison down to #38 :o

:D :D

Think it will be in the top #30 by Sunday.
