Great stuff - he's at #63 on ITunes album chart too

Thanks sunday.

Thanks Sunday. :D Let's hope so TT. If there's any justice in this world, it should shoot up again, especially after that great performance on Loose Women. :cheer:
So the logic is if he's reached the same position on iTunes now as he's been selling overall, he'll have sold even more on non iTunes after his appearance today so overall should rise again in this weeks charts, yes?!

Liking your logic Ros. :D

Thanks TT - just seen that. Let's hope his sales get a nice boost this week. He's been doing well on ITunes album chart. At 76 at the moment with 9 compilations ahead of him.

Even went past Cheryl at one point . :P Anyone else think chat has been a bit quiet on that front  Has the "nation's sweetheart" finally come down to earth with a thump.

I really shouldn't laugh :nono: but :heehee:

Thanks for the updates and he's moving up on Amazon as well, #102 with cd album and #23 with mp3 album,

I know the sales will be small but they all count.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't visit this part of the forum more often.

Surely as a Will Young fan you should know that slagging artists off can sometime hurt and basically it's just being bitchy. But oh well, I guess it's FUUUUUN.

Hayzayy, we don't mean to cause offence honestly, I wouldn't call having a little pop at Cheryl "slagging her off", Will gets dissed all the time and in a very nasty way, I don't think we were being nasty as such.

I hardly call what was said as "slagging off". When some of the very nasty comments that have been said about Will, now and in the past, and on this site as well as others, are said about Cheryl, then you'd have cause for complaint.

I wasn't slagging her off - far from it. Having a laugh at her expense - yes definitely - and I don't apologise for it. For someone who has minimal vocal talent to get as much praise heaped on her as she does I find it amusing that she now has a bit of a struggle on her hands with this album instead of sailing through on a wave of hype. And the silence on that front is deafening.

Saying has she landed with a thump is hardly "slagging off".

As Chrysalis says we have had to see some really nasty things said about Will - on websites and from people who have an axe to grind. A certain person of the press who clearly dislikes him comments regularly how he is struggling, failing to make successful return and "hanging on by his fingertips" when he clearly sells very well in today's climate. Another comment by this said person was he should be worried about selling out a phone box in relation to his upcoming acting role in Cabaret.

He consistently sells out his tours and just because he isn't constantly in the press as Cheryl is and doesn't sell singles as he used to, he's often accused of being washed up etc. He's doing very nicely and has a loyal fanbase who support him on his LIVE tours :P

Cheryl Cole/Tweedy, whatever, has got off lightly imo. The only criticism I've seen that she has had to suffer is about her miming and autotuning - other than that she can seemingly do no wrong. And Girls Aloud have never, as far as I can recall, been constantly referred to as the "Popstars Winners" or often referred to as talentless and karaoke.

I think Cheryl and her 'band' mates have been lucky they can sell themselves with a sexy persona.I've often read comments from fans saying they don't care if she/they can't sing or mime because they put on a great show.

Each to his own.

Rant over. :P

Fab-u-lous. Thanks Sunday - was really hoping his showing on ITunes would reflect a big jump
Thank sunday and all things considered he's had a great week, 2 concerts at the RAH and 2 more sold out Forest concerts and Echoes has risen 48 places. :D

Thanks Sunday. :D That's a mighty jump from 100. :o :cheer:
