They don't mind a reasonable negative post though - and that's the way it should be. Slagging people of because you aren't a fan shouldn't be allowed but, people who do like him probably wont like everything he does.

Im like a kid with a new toy now I have learned to do this :D

That is cool!

As far as the comments go, there must be room for some constructive criticism. What would be the point of Darius asking for feedback on Better Man if no-one was allowed to say what they did or didn't like about it?

Hi Pam - you're not here again.

:hi: yes I am....woken by the door bell :(

Just had 2 photo texts off Stuart....he's in London :D

Don't mention, London. I didn't bother with the place for ages and now I have to stop myself just upping and making my way there at the drop of a hat. All those times I spent there for NUTS and Chicago visits, reminded me that it was a great city.

I just love going.....so much so that we've booked 2 shows for the 1st week in September :cheer:

...it will be wierd not seeing Darius though :(

We've booked 'Footloose' and 'Guysand Dolls' - but if D is anywhere else, obviously, we would go there instead.

Fantastic! David Essex. Gotta love David! I was planning on going to see him when they said he was replacing Darius in Chicago. I think he'll be great in Footloose.

Thanks. i'd love to know what you think. His hair's got very grey but I would expect that. I wonder if he's still got that larger than life personality.

hello its billy no mates again.

It looks like theres been a few here tonight :D

I was ironing and missed you all

I'm still here. I absolutely hate ironing. If they ever come up with a comfortable, good looking non-iron fabric that is mainly natural fibre, I think I'd pay well over the odds for garments made of it.

BTW I was flicking the telly (bad habit of mine) and I caught one of the tiny fill in bits on an American channel.. might have been Fox, about socks that are biodegradable because they're made from yarn spun from SWEETCORN, probably something in the husk bit I suppose. It's not just a prototype either. They're churning them out and making a profit.

All the non-iron things I've had have been a bit too synthetic apart from the crushed-effect cotton skirts. When I was young Mum used to send sheets and shirts to the laundry. They'd come and pick them up and then deliver them all neatly parcelled up a few days later.

Sometimes I think progress is not so great. Trudging around the supermarket, I sometimes hanker for the days when you went in with your list and the shopkeeper fetched it all, boxed it all and delivered it to your front door. I miss the greengrocer, butcher, fish shop where people knew their produce in and out and could give you all the advice you needed.

That's without saying

:o How late do some of you go to bed I know Pam works but you were busy on here through the night
I waited up to receive a phone call from abroad. I hate doing nothing and with a downstairs neighbour with a dog, I can't really do anything that requires me to move around the house too much. So I played around on the net. I must admit the call came much later than I thought it would. I'm not quite my usual perky self today. I'll put on Dive In or better still try to locate a live performance video on youtube, myspace or Sonnet's. That always does the trick!

Can you imagine putting your socks on and them disappearing before you take them off? I suppose you could have them sprout tendrils at about lunch time, you harvest the new little socks at dinner time and the next morning they have matured to be worn.

OK I'll go away quietly now.
