They're not quite at that stage yet, megham. The manager of the company did joke that he'd tried salt and pepper but they didn't make them any better. What they do say, is if you bury them in the ground ( now why would anyone want to bury socks?), they'll disintegrate harmlessly after 3 weeks or so.

Some people's feet would accelerate that.

 

At least I've given them goals to aspire to.

Me, I do a rain dance to try to dodge doing the gardening!

Our gardens are going green again. The shrubs are recovering too. I like the rain. Not next week though, when I'm on holiday.
