If I saw Darius in it - I'd go again. It's funny that it didn't run for long last time it was at the Cambridge. There's next to no rake in the seats (not sure if that's the right rake, I wasn't considering gardening in the theatre)

It's not on any of the theatre pages that it's closing, but why would they put an advert in if it wasn't?

wont be ready till December.

Pam's just seen an advert for Chicago that says it's closing in October. That'd be a shame - theu're still selling tickets until April on the sites.

Here's the piece...

m quite worried where baytree is, she has been such a staunch supporter . Havent even seen her name reading the posts. Re the closing of chicago in october, could it be because it is going on tour then, do they ususally run the westend show at the same time as it is on tour. I like PIP love reading the messages on my space but isnt it time he replied. I find it very odd that there is no news whatsoever in the media especially when there is news of mel c and rachel stevens etc etc who are all in the states also.and neither of them are in the spotlight here as it were. However I can understand him biding his time on the album. Jamelia who has just returned after a lengthy break has not done well with her single, standing on sunday at no.28.

Darius with both dd's sons

We can now blame Pam for liquidating them both

I know its been a while since you turned my boys into a puddle but look what I have changed Darius into

Now we know why he's taking so long with the new album - and it's all your fault. You could get away into turning him into sponge-whatever his name is, but to knock him down and drown him in a puddle - how could you?

Hello!

Sorry to have worried everyone. I haven't had the heart to come on here. It's difficult to explain. Simply put, I've had a longish fit of the blues. I lost the plot a bit and stopped communicating in the real world too because my longest and dearest friend passed away quite suddenly. It was a terrible shock and I think it hit me so hard because other than me, she was the last of our little group of friends from Primary School.

My PC cracked up when I tried to come back on yesterday. When I switched it on, it just ticked and then the fan sound stopped and then nothing. The power light was on but the switch wouldn't go off. I had to shut it down by cutting off the power. When I re-started it, I got the light, the fan but nothing on the screen and I couldn't re-boot it because I can't get the CD/Dvd to open. Right now I'm using my laptop but it's got a funny quirk of it's own and sometimes the screen will go dead and the broadband connection breaks. I have to just close the lid and wait for the orange light to restart.

I can't afford to get either repaired this month. It's the big car month - service, MOT, insurance and road tax.

:friends: baytree Im so sorry it was bad news that kept you away we have really missed you on here and if you need to talk you know where I am.

I hope you're feeling better BT, at least we've the future to look forward to. It does take you aback when people die. One of my friend's husband died this time last year and it seemed unbelievable, He left 2 daughters 9 and 14.

It never seems right but there's nothing we can do.

Hi, megham. Fortunately Lynda Anne's children are adults and her grandchildren are quite young so probably don't fully understand.

I think it has re-affirmed my belief that life is for living.

Absolutely. I became the first one of my family, on my Dad's side, who look like we do, to get to this age. I must admit, I worried like mad the year before everyone else, including my cousin (the first of our generation to reach that age), then I decided to do everything I could in that year. If I lived, it was a bonus, if not, I'd have had fun. A close friend died and left me money to 'Darius chase'. I'd rather had her alive but, I couldn't manage that and I thought of her at each event - and still do. She's still very much part of my life.
Baytree I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I also have lost a friend this last weekend and yes it makes you realise that life is for living but in my case this realisation has come late being as I am pretty ancient already. I did think that it must be something serious to keep you away. When it happens suddenly it is a shock and I feel for you in your loss. a friend from primary school is a long long time, a lifetime virtually.Do hope you will soon be feeling better and we are here for you at any time.

Hello Baytree

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news!! It is said that you can count the number of true friends you have on one hand and someone you have kept in touch with since Primary School must surely have been a true friend!! It is so hard to understand why certain things happen in this life and none of us ever know how long we will be here - when somebody close passes away, it puts everything into perspective!! We should try to make the most of every day!! :)

We missed you - welcome back!! :)

I am so sorry to hear your news, BT

It not only hits hard when someone close to you dies because of their death, it also brings to mind your own mortality and so you seem to find you are grieving for the lost one and yourself and life suddenly seems so short.

Thanks for your kind regards everyone. I am feeling much brighter.

Darius dreamer, could you please fish Darius out of that puddle? I like wet Darius but he looks like he might have a touch of jaundice.
