Went to Islands of Adventure at Universal Florida today and got completely soaked....yes completely soaked on the Popeye barges water ride.

The water just poured in and stayed on our seats :blink:

 

...it was great fun........but we were cold afterwards as the temp was 50-60F.

We did eventually dry :rolleyes:

 

Spent last week painting the twin bedrooms and doing odd jobs around the villa.

Hoping to now spend some time relaxing till we leave on Saturday :D

Silly pitch. A positive pitch based on a resume reminder of the girls' work might be more fruitful.

 

 

I've never been a fan of Destiny's Child although I liked what I heard of Kelly Rowland's solo stuff. I started off indifferent to Beyonce but began to dislike the favouritism shown by the media and now I just turn the page if there's anything about her. I don't know her but get the impression she's such a Diva. Isn't it just stupid when artists start acting that way?

 

Pam, I'm glad you're having such fun. I envy you. I love Florida.

I did vote yes for Take That, though. I thought they were the best band out when they started. I preferred Gary to Robbie but, that's just personal taste.

Ive got to take the dogs out now I hope the rain keeps of

Stuart had to take one of our dogs to the vet yesterday.....they had been fighting and Billy wasn't walking properly.

 

Anyway....after an xray....manipulation of his hip that had dislocated and then strapped up....costing over £200..

Stuart had to return 1 hour later as Billy had managed to remove his strapping :o

 

Last time we were away it was Ben at the vets unable to walk after fighting....

 

I think they are frustrated whilst we are away.....I do wish he would walk them and not just kick balls up the garden :angry:

It doesn't seem to matter how much time their temporary carer lavishes on them, my cats stick to me like glue if I've been away for more than 24 hours.

 

Re the request for the DC forum, I think they probably should have one if they have enough fans willing to support it.

 

I think it was Sky today that said Beyonce may be in the running for an Oscar nomination for her role in the movie "Dreamgirls". That's what he should be putting across. The time for voting against this forum was when its request was first made. There is and will be a Darius Danesh forum whether DC gets one or not.

 

Strikes me as a touch of "You can't bring Casely back!" I can't believe it was a year ago since I first saw Darius raise that eyebrow and bring down the house.

I happen to believe that everyone has a right to support whoever they feel is good. They shouldn't have to put up with backbiting or insults because someone else doesn't agree with their view.

I have nothing against any forum that has people who want it to exist.

Billy seems fine....he removed his strapping again, but doesn't seem to be bothered.

 

Stuart took Bill to work with him yesterday and Ben today.

 

He was lucky....they are always travel sick if I take them too far in the car.

Ben sticks to me like glue when we get home...Bill tends to go to Stephen...unless Stephen's out and then he's at my feet :rolleyes:
