I considered taking up Sky's free broadband offer but decided to wait and see what the feedback about it is. I was very happy with freeserve which then became wanadoo without troubling me too much. It's now been taken over by Orange which doesn't fill me with confidence.

Everything came back this evening. I could post on this and then .net and the rest came back about one and a half hours after.

Thats a shame Baytree, some real voting is required re WOS.com. Have a good week.

Someone please remind me when I get home. If I don't do something when I first think about it, I often forget.

Paulas come home from Cyprus I was all excited :cheer: but she has booked a flight back in January  but it does sound a much better place than here so I dont blame her. At least shes home for Christmas :D

I'm off tomorrow, Preston.

We've had nothing but rain here for a fortnight and I was hoping to escape that but the 5 day forecast for Paris doesn't look much better, although the temperature is warmer.

At least Wednesday is set to be dry so that will be a jampacked day of 'doing' the Christmas lights, visiting the outdoor markets, the skating rink at the Hotal De Ville, eating outside on restaurant terraces warmed by huge patio heaters, not to mention the unmissable stroll down the Champs Elysee at night.

This is a Christmas shopping trip and we usually spend some time in the stores anyway. I love Paris. It's like a second hometown to me. I can have a ball there no matter what the weather is like.

I am envious.Just got in and read your message re Paris. Hope you have a great time. We went to Paris for our honeymoon and have been back a few times since but not very recently. Visited the large antiques market on the outskirts and stayed next to the Moulin rouge also visited the folies bergere which I thought was amazing.

Enjoy your time together :D

I hate it when the family is seperated at Xmas. I end up feeling very sad that someone isn't there.
It will be our first Christmas without Stephanie, but we are going to her home Boxing Day :D

Put up our tree last night...wonder how long the chocolate will last  ....good job Meg doesn't live here

Got some blue icicles for my porch, I  the blue colour.

My mum gave me a Christmas scene waterfall that plays carols so that's set up in the porch to drive everyone coming in mad :D

I love hearing Slade sing....'so here it is......

Pip, we'll have to switch areas....I've not heard it here....yet

You could always send them to me. It'd save any of you eating them - and I wouldn't mind at all.
