No answer - just can't think which song I really don't like that you really like.

Were you feeling a little delicate that day.

Went to one of our friends houses yesterday. I haven't seen her for a few months as it's quite a journey. It was really depressing. Her tongue is also paraysed now and she can't speak at all. She's lost 3 1/2 stone and looks really fragile.

She says that they've given her 2yrs and she's not in pain. It seems to have happened so quickly. I think it's only when you see MS at work you realise what a dreadful condition it is.

Aw, Meg, that's tough. It's so hard to watch someone we love deteriorate and not be able to do anything.

At the very least, visits from old friends like you will help to lift her spirits.

Certainly didn't lighten mine. The change from a laughing, bubbly, outgoing person is so stark. The friend two doors down from us has been put in a hospice for them to try and deal with her pain. This is also so quick - from kidney infection to bone cancer in one easy move.

The best I can hope for Xmas this year, is that it heralds the end of an awful year and that the new one may bring relief and maybe happiness with it.
