They were playing 'Colourblind' in my local Co-op this morning. Apparently the Co-op have their own radio station - it was lovely to hear a DJ announce it again!! It really cheered me up!!! :D

You're right. It's very squishy now, isn't it? I'm not sure what the Quick Access bit is all about. Was it there before?

Did this forum ever turn pink for you? I'm not sure if was this blue skin that briefly turned pink or a.n.other.

I don't mind it a bit. Which quick access bit, BT. I hadn't even noticed one. Good aren't I?
2 weeks ago, I saw a smashed birds egg (not chicken) Two days ago, I passed a dead newly hatched wild bird. The birds are singing from 2:30am. I think they're totally confused now. We've had a few days of spring mixed with a couple of days of rain here.

Everything is about as it always is round here. The Blackbirds wake us up at dawn, which thankfully is getting earlier.

The early cherry blossom is just opening, and the daffs arent out but in bud, the forsythia isnt out as yet, and the frogs are just indulging in their yearly orgys in the pond.

The birds arent nesting here as yet, they are still courting and the robin is fighting his corner in the garden..

It is lovely watching the Red Kites swirling and diving together in the sky, and I noticed a Buzzard yesterday.

I do love Spring

I've just opened a new 6pack of dogfood. All this liquid spilt out. Three of the cans had been bashed and gone mouldy and revolting. Naturally, I got the stuff all over me.

grrr..bleeding morrisons unleaded petrol.

filled the car up the other sunday there and the next day it was spluttering and very lumpy, juddering and loss of power- have never had that before.

Now acording to the News it seems Morrisons have had a dodgy lot of petrol, and hundreds of cars have broken down, lucky mine is still going, not so bad now as we have topped her up since with jet petrol..only by luck mind you as we tend to use Morrisons more.

I ought to have a stricker in the back at present - "sorry for the delay I have morrisons petrol in my tank! " so embarassing pulling away and finding she has no power and juddering.

And to top it all Morries said they had tested their petrol and there is nothing wrong with it..it is definately the petrol.

on the news it said not to use the cars and it is costing people hundreds to repair theirs. so fingers crossed my little car is so basic she can cope, think its been two weeks now! and she is still coping with the splutters on acceleration. Wonder if they were testing out some thing to dilute the petrol..mm..fingers crossed

just reading online news saying it has led to thousands of reports of exhaust sensor failure effecting london and se england..what on earth is that..I was hoping it was just something not as flamable as petrol and wasnt sparking it fully..mm..off to investigate.

Oh but on the bright side, we dont have insufferable Sky amymore, I don't think I could take any more sky one and Simpson repeats. As for the rest of the sky channels we never watched them and they just clogged up the menu.

Sorry it happened to you.

It's dreadful. It happened to me once when I filled my tank at a BP station which I didn't normally use. It wasn't a bad batch of petrol per se. Something was wrong with one of their underground tanks and water had got in. I remember I had to have the petrol tank of my car completely drained and cleaned. I was without the car for several days. It cost me quite a bit of money to put right and of course I lost all that petrol and had to pay again to refill the tank from scratch.

We both used Tesco last time - up to now, it looks as though we've been lucky. What a nightmare for people who haven't been.
I filled up at Asda last time. Our local Morrison's is closer but they didn't get the necessary planning permission for their petrol station, because of probable traffic congestion at an important junction. Everybody was annoyed at the time ........but it's an ill wind...............
The Morrison's by my mum had the cheapest petrol - then they withdrew planning permission. Something about having a petrol station underneath the store could be seen as dangerous. I wonder how they came to that idea?
I'm off to the shops now. My father-in-law is now washed and sitting waiting for his paper.

mm, I am hoping my oxygen probe and convertor arent damaged..just seen the renault garage on the news..£1000.. as i am hoping to keep her going through this..she hasnt got worse and isnt as bad as the start, so hopefully because we only put 5 gallons in and it was mixed with the half tank already and the fuel cleainng fluid we put in...and now another half tank on top of it..I just cannot understand how peoples sensors are being ruined if they say there is notbiing in the petrol, what would fur them up??..I suspect they could have been trying to thin it a bit more..dont know about water.surely that would show up!! any how..if I take the car to the garage..obviously they wll say my oxygen probes and convertor are damaged....arent they!!! caught between damaging the car more..and dodgey mechanics whats the betting after all this they say that it was just a weak mix, and the garages have been conning people.we stopped uing Asdas petrol some time back becausd the car shuddered like this..on a lesser scale, when ever we filled up there - we susspected they were weakening the mixture somehow.

It is getting beyond now though, my mum and dad darent fill up because they dont know where is safe, theres just that worry that although she seems to work ok apart from the odd shudder on acceleration - she may conk out all of a sudden. its a mystery
