My husband has already booked the weekends for him. One of us always has to stay with his Dad. It'll seem really funny when we can actually do things together again.

or he does.

my son is coming home soon, and he has five surround sound speakers for his PC! the last straw was having our bedroom floor bouncing and thudding last time he was home when he was playing his war games!

Ive just been watching Darius on You Tube "Its not unusual" Danny B sang it on Grease is the word last night

He was ok but not a patch on Darius

Thanks, dd. That's the performance from the Will Young special just after PI finished.

It was a great show. I'm sure Gareth duetted with Rachel Stevens on that show. Was that also when Will sang River Deep Mountain High with Hayley? I can't check because, unfortunately, my video tape of the show got mangled.

Is Danny B's version on youtube ? He's through to the final of GITW, isn't he?

My friend's son has that.

Very effective.......

...glad it's not my house

Thanks. I'm getting the ads but I can't get any of the videos to play.

Edit: Found it here

For me, it's definitely lacking bounce and fun, despite the rather jerky choreography.

Technically he'll probably make a good Danny, but I don't see the kind of charisma needed to get across the footlights to a large audience in the West End.

Home. Refreshed, rested, fed and watered but still a bit tired. Worth the effort in every way though.

I was lucky. My ticket just said Liverpool stations to Glasgow.. Route- Preston. Thanks to helpful staff at Lime Street, I was in time to change my route and catch the earlier train from Preston instead of Manchester.

It meant I didn't have a reserved seat, but frankly I'd a good choice in fact, and I had to get a taxi here in Glasgow but that was a dawdle.

Sorry to disappoint you, Preston but I don't have any photos.

Even the extremely patient Darius was desperately amused and gave me his opinion. He thought it might be on a timer.

Who knows, he might even be right. I don't remember setting it as such, but there may be some setting I need to cancel. I'm going to try to find the manual and go right back to the beginning and see if I can get the dashed thing to focus better and take the picture faster. If not, I'll have to keep that camera for still life photography and buy another for action pictures and portraits.

Fortunately there were quite a few people there who are much better photographers.

I thought Darius was looking particularly well, younger than ever, when he was in mufti. His hair was really curly when he arrived. It's a shame they slick it back almost to Chicago severity.

Makes a change from it being me - it's even my fault with my family when I'm not in the same country.
