It is still the same now, at 12 noon.

I was going to watch that just in case, but couldnt hack it after seeing the cheeky girls..have we seen it before, or was it a new program?? I suspect it was a repeat

My Mum phones me about this. I'd just come in, it had just ended and I had a very soggy dog and dripping clothes to contend with. As I've said before, if he lives to 100, someone will still play that clip. Mum said it wasn't all negative about him. Although, my Mum can see the good in anything, so I wouldn't take that as gospel.

It's a shame Darius didn't get repeat royalties for it - it must be shown several times a year.

 

Why don't they show his actual audition in Glasgow? Answer - because he blew the panel and the rest of the assembled auditionees away, singing the same song, HMBOMT, straight.

 

I wonder how many others featured on that programme have done half as much in the world of entertainment as Darius.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

too true, BT - I love the full clip I had when the camera wouldnt stop running, the camera man seemed mesmerised, and darius kept glancing at it, thinking that was it, but had to keep going, that version of HMOMT was superb and shows he was more than capable of copying the Britney version!! but it is never shown! they prefer the one when he shows off his vocal range, which is scoffed at - but is actually not easy to do - I would actually challange anyone to emulate it without screeching or not reaching the notes ,

I've spent the afternoon putting 2006 and 2007 videos on to DVD.

 

Took ages to work out how to do it.

 

Must now get round to all the rest before video recorders are no more.....:unsure:

No.

 

There is/was one radio/web interview somewhere on the net when he sings a bit of the ruder version, but the one shown in the auditions for Popstars was definitely a more or less straight cover version of HMBOMT, just as the other auditionees were doing of Angels, Living The Vida Loca, Genie In The Bottle etc.
