There is/was one radio/web interview somewhere on the net when he sings a bit of the ruder version, but the one shown in the auditions for Popstars was definitely a more or less straight cover version of HMBOMT, just as the other auditionees were doing of Angels, Living The Vida Loca, Genie In The Bottle etc.

Sorry, I had for a while but I think it went down 2 computers ago.

I've never seen that clip. I've seen the other many times but without them telling him he couldn't sing his own song, that he had to show his full range and his ability to move. I think it was the way he was set up that really got me. This isn't my type of program, it was just chance that i saw it about half way through.

Dont know if anyone watched this, I watched bits but there is a quite funny thread onWOS titled ALW medley re the josephs and another thread re Michelle mcmanus playing the role of Mary in the westend.

I must admit I laughed at Taras description of the three josephs and a further down dig at Simon cowell.

I can't see the posts you're talking about but I did see some of it on youtube.

 

IMHO it was misleading of ALW to declare throughout ADWD that the winner would appear on that concert. It gave the impression that he would sing any song from Joseph, not that he would have to sing with 2 other much older voices.

 

 

I have taken Paula to the airport this morning It was so scarey there were police with guns everywhere. :o

 

It's such a shock because on the UK mainland we're not used to seeing our police with guns.

 

Now with the heightened alert is probably the best time to travel to be sure systems are being rigidly adhered to.

They walk around London in twos with huge guns. It's better than the alternative I suppose - unless you're the innocent person they think looks guilty

When we were in Turkey it was awful seeing armed police.....it seems even worse here, but as Meg says this is probably the best time to travel.
