Meg they are gorgeous

Paula has gone to Cyprus, it probably the safest time to travel but we are not used to seeing it here.

It was chaos trying to drop her of all the car parks were closed.

The pups were one day old there. Black Labs do get SLIGHTLY bigger. I don't think I'm going to convince Dave.

She should be fine dd. Once she's in Cyprus she'll not even notice a difference.

You shouldn't have shown me those pups, megham.

It's made me want a dog again. I'd rather have a dog than cats but I've never liked seeing them in kennels and it's much harder to get someone to look after a dog when I'm away 3 or 4 times a year. I have to be strong and tell myself it would be selfish of me to get one.

But when they're near to you and you can watch them grow, it is very difficult. On top of that, the mother is one of the sweetest dogs I've met.

It would be so great to be near enough to watch them grow and see them develop their individual personalities.

I love those fly on the wall nature programmes which follow the progress of young animals with 24hr cameras, often with night vision.

I really can't have one. A man of nearly 100 and a puppy just wouldn't mix. I would love one though. They are absolutely lovely.
It's so much work to train a puppy. I don't know if I could do it now. I think I'd probably go for a rescue dog who at least was housetrained.

Its very quiet in my house Paula has gone to Cyprus and Michael has gone to Paris with the school.

I guess I should enjoy it but I love a noisy house :yahoo:

It's that peculiar feeling you get when the kids are first old enough to leave while you go out. That there's somethin crucial really missing.
It was one of the best in the UK.

When the facilities needed updating, the old hospital was closed and a new unit was built at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow. The Unit is called the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit.

Canniesburn saved and rebuilt my grandmother's leg after it had been crushed when she was run over by a lorry during one of those dreadful smogs in the fifties.

I can just remember one of those thick murky fogs from when I was young and I can still recall the smell - it must have been laden with all kinds of chemicals from the factories - it was horrible, like sulphur.

The guy burnt at the terrorist attack on Glasgow Airport has been transferred to a "specialist unit" at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Sounds like Canniesburn. Am I churlish to think that that bed and dedicated care should go to someone who was not absolutely determined to bring that dreadful condition on himself?

Just watching bebin tv. Doesn't he look young in the 'Dive In' documentary?

If it's the one I think you mean, I get a lump in my throat every time, when Darius is talking about how lonely he was and how wonderful it was to find producers who believed in him after Popstars. He looks so vulnerable.
