Am I the only one who is just a little bit disappointed that this was the announcement we were waiting for :P

Well I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't, it's just that everything costs so much extra if you don't happen to live in London and it always seems to be London when it's something "special" that's taking place. I'd have preferred it to be shown on TV then we can all share in this, there's going to be dancers and special routines and stuff like that and only 2 thousand are going to see it and so yes, I'm disappointed but I'll still be happy for those who can go, as we'll get to see pics and reviews from all the lovely devotees who take the time to make sure we do experience a little of it. :friends:

It's still not certain that this is the news though, If he hadn't performed live for a while then yes this would of been huge but i don't know, it just doesn't seem the huge news i was expecting (which was European promotion)..hopefully that news is around the corner and i won't have to swear a bit.
Lots of unhappy people who had trouble getting tickets.

I tried for tickets as I live in West Lodon, but like most people, I didn't have any luck.

To be honest, I don't know what would be exclusive about Will performing old and new songs, this is what he does at all his gigs and yes, I'm disappointed if this is the 'big news' because it just sounds like another London date to me, which was much needed as the Shepherd's bush ones were standing or unreserved seating, so not an attractive proposition to a lot of people, hence not selling out yet.

Seems very few tickets were put on sale today.

Yes, I have just rung ticketmaster and the answer from the person I spoke to said that only a few tickets were available today but the majority will be on general sale on Friday. They had a very limited supply today for sale. So much once again for pre sale for fans!!!

The thing is the only way these ticket touts get tickets is that they have registered on site as fans..and so how can a website know who is a fan or not? it's not possible to monitor and it's will always happen. I wish people wouldn't put tweets up to Will about it, he doesn't sell the tickets.

Totally agree Bev, just because you dont post on one of Wills sites doesnt make you a lesser fan than someone who does, I was treated once to tickets by a friend, as a complete suprise, got told on the night we were much farther forward than thought :cheer: we still had our original tickets, we got talking to someone who had tried very hard for a long time to get tickets to see Will and they had pants ones right at the back so we gave them our spares, they were delighted, and i asked them if they posted on any of Wills sites and they said no they didnt.

I keep wondering the same thing..

@ashsoan The Palladium gig for Will Young sounds intriguing. Is it being filmed or is it just a one off for the fans? Hope you'll be there!

@LuluH_1977 not sure but I'm sure Will will keep us all in the loop:)

Well we know better don't we!Outlaws can love Will just as much as the perceived "chosen ones"!

 Maybe thats why we arent going to the Palladium

Thing is, if Wills fans were all the people that posted on his website, he would be dead in the water :heehee: I mean, if we managed a total of couple of thousand, erm what would his sales have been like? and tour dates, we would have that big black curtain out at row 20  or his 'fans' have spent hours downloading and mega bucks on tour tickets, come on how ridiculous :heehee: :heehee: :heehee:

Just had a quick look on ticket sites ebay has 28 tickets and viagogo has 64 ticket  so thats 92 tickets, its a lot but im sure far more than that went up for sale, so plenty for fans touts will always get in there quickly its their job and must have super fast computers with hardly anything on it.

I got three tickets yesterday after TM opened up the "No matches" page. Three up in the gods that others dismissed as being too far away but, hey, we are going to be there so what the heck. Someone posted a photo on Will's FB of the inside of the Palladium and it looks to be much the same size as New Theatre Oxford. The tiers overlap each other quite a way (Top tier overlaps second at Row C and the second tier overlaps the stalls at Row N)so you aren't that far away from the stage. The seating goes up instead of gently back. I also had a look on Theatre Monkey and people who have sat where we are going to be have said they had excellent views and plenty of legroom. Apparently much of the theatre seating is squashed together so anyone who is over 5'7" won't be all that comfortable unless they are on the end of the row and can stretch their legs. It's also 'cheaper' up there too :P

Can't bring the picture over but here's a link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stagedoor/485...in/photostream/

I sat in front row of the circle for Milly, its a great view :cheer:

Well done Chris for getting tickets :cheer: :cheer:

loved the Palladium, think its one of those venues that you get a good view no matter where you sit, and yes the seating especially in the circle does go up fairly steep so person behind you has their head above yours, so really good view

after having a think about the Palladium, we had to ring the box office to get tickets, and i was offered somewhere mid stalls i think or front row balcony, i asked the lady on the phone where she would prefer to sit and she said the front row of the balcony, i got some reasonable pics, but cameras are so much more sophisticated than they were then, think i had a 3.2 mp with a 3x zoom, having said that, they were very tight on people taking pics, the usherettes were watching like hawks, not sure if that is still the case tho

Any one know how the Palladium ticket sale went today?

im not going but just wondered if devoted or anyone on here managed to bag some tickets

Just been in my emails, they seem to have sold out on Barclaycard unwind, they had some.

I've just been on Will's face book page, not sure if the event is sold out fanwise as no doubt touts got a lot, but i did see some fans are now selling the extras they got, so hopefully most are now sorted. I'm sure there's more to this event than meets the eye, otherwise it's just a bit random isn't it? and it IS friday so i suppose this really was the big news then..

Glad the fans are getting sorted Bev thanks thats good news, if the barclaycard thingy had some i would have also got some and passed them on, yes i suppose youre right then Bev, must have been the big news. I defo agree there must be more to it than meets the eye, i really do feel it will be televised and some sort of a different element to the tour, otherwise they would have added it as a tour date in the normal way, what does everyone else think?
