It5's funny but every time we hear what might be next on goes the album and i sit and imagine it on radio :lol: I'm sure Will's performances of this will be epic..I was talking to Phil about the TV Special and said to her that Will's performance of Come On was my fave out of the news tracks he performed that night. Surprised it's to be single..but happy enough with it as a choice.

Oh and edit again..i really shouldn't try and second guess him. lol!

:lol: Ive come on (oh bugger no pun intended) to eat my words, i do love the song but i was really not thinking that he would release a cover, (how wrong could i be) :wacko: :rolleyes: i should have learnt my lesson well before now :lol: a blue peter video... ah no he wont do that how silly :cool: :blush: :heehee: and i loved the vid so bloody funny :rofl: and a few other things too, yes you did say that earlier today hun :dance: i love the song but im just slightly :o because its a cover and i couldnt see that happening. proves me wrong then :rolleyes: I love LNTM live on the special, god he sings so much better live than on cd, this song went up 100 fold in my likability factor of that song :wub: but i dont really want it to be a single as i think he needs to go more with the upbeat sound... Good things is my very fave on the album, and i dismissed it as having any probability of being a single ( i so hope im wrong with that too ) :w00t: :w00t:

I hope this isnt a hoax :unsure: thats the same as me Ros, its a cover and i really didnt expect it to be a single just as thats the same reason, and if he thinks come on is better (which i dont) (although i like it a lot) i think he needs his eardrums vacuumed or maybe other parts of his body that would remain in his mind forever as a reminder of a mistake :cool:

I have seen a few blogs saying that Come On was their stand out track so i expect it will do really well. :D Jealousy has opened doors that were firmly shut for Will and now the rest will be easier i think..airplay should follow all his singles now..fingers crossed.

There's a couple of tracks on the album that I wouldn't like as singles, but I can't pick a standout from the remaining 10, so Come on will do for me. :D

 

I'm not a 100% convinced that this guy has got insider info though, I still think it could be anyone of the 12 when the official announcement is made.

I love Come On as well, :dance: instantly catchy and "sticky in the heady" in a good way, the production on this is special too.

I really think something like Safe From Harm is an ideal single choice in a way. It's catchy, it's different enough to convince people who wouldn't normally buy a Will Young album to buy one. I think Come On appeals too much to his normal fanbase who will buy his album no matter what singles are released.

actually thats a really good point, that is the song i stuggled with on first listen, so can see totally where youre coming from. i think some US bloggers have picked out Come on, as a stand out track, and really when we compare notes on which we like best, there is always different songs in everyones say top 3, but very interesting what you have said :D

If i had my choice it wouldn't be Come On on as its not a fave of mine, it's still a great track though and I'm sure it will do well..so what do i know :lol: but i don't agree RMD that it sounds like something to appeal just to Will's fanbase, ..i think Come on is a different sound to what people expect from Will..if you remove his albums as whole bodies of work and just go with all his single releases which is after all what most people know of him then Come On on does stand out as a different sound for him IMO. I really hope there are four single this time..cause i will have a melt down if i don't get IJWAL! :lol: that's my must have track.

The thing with this album is that all the tracks are good. So many artists put out albums that have four/five obvious singles and the rest fillers.

 

IMO, Outsider is the only track on Echoes that is definitely not single material, but it's because there's such a wide choice to pick from that there's such a variety of favourites being bandied about. :lol:

 

I haven't seen an obvious front runner yet, maybe Silent Valentine is slightly ahead, but certainly no overwhelming favourite next single.
