February 21, 201213 yr OFFTOPIC in discussion: Anyone seen the danish-swedish crime series 'Broen'? 'The bridge'. It's huge over here now  amazing series, and not forget the new Norwegian-American tv series, 'Lillyhammer'? It's actually a success in America :D They ordered another season  Look at this: bfRgVbp9gSY
February 21, 201213 yr Send Rachel Adedeji and her "Club Lights" track. Just cut of 12 seconds and it's the perfect length!! God damn it! I'm full of ideas and the BBC struggling to get ONE song! UGH!
February 21, 201213 yr Why is that relevant to the UK topic? I said it was offtopic  I read something about Forbrydelsen and Borgen in the previous page.
February 21, 201213 yr Jade later tweeted saying she might be filming a little documentary. That would surely be more Eurovision related than The Voice?! Also coincidental that both Jade and BBC Eurovision have started tweeting again at the same time hmm...
February 22, 201213 yr Send Rachel Adedeji and her "Club Lights" track. Just cut of 12 seconds and it's the perfect length!! Oh nevermind! The track is already precisely 3 minutes! What are you waiting for? :D
February 22, 201213 yr I've heard today that there IS an artist, there IS a song, and they're just working out the logistics. Most importantly it's not John Barrowman :w00t:
February 22, 201213 yr Author I've read rumours (can't remember where) that we will have more news in the next 48 hours :D
February 23, 201213 yr I still definitely think it's going to be Jade Ewen! Also, slightly off topic, but the official Eurovision Twitter account totes tweeted me today, and we had quite a conversation going! I didn't even tweet them first either, just hashtagged #Eurovision and #ESC lolz.
February 23, 201213 yr PLEASE be Jade. Even if she does miserably compared to last time, at least we'd be sending somebody we know can pull it off and not just sending the campest thing within a few square miles of London. (HELLO Joe McElderry or John Barrowman.)
February 23, 201213 yr Author Latest rumours are Right Said Fred (which they have denied themselves) and The Ting Tings! :P
February 23, 201213 yr We could do a lot worse than The Ting Tings actually, and it's not like they have anything to lose now career wise, it would give them a last hurrah top 40 hit  As for Right Said Fred, that's the worst rumour yet! :drama:
February 24, 201213 yr Latest rumours are Right Said Fred (which they have denied themselves) and The Ting Tings! :P Worryingly, Right Said Fred haven't exactly denied it...they've been spine-chillingly ambiguous.
February 24, 201213 yr Worryingly, Right Said Fred haven't exactly denied it...they've been spine-chillingly ambiguous. Is this 'ambiguous' in the same way Same Difference's label manager flat out saying no last year was 'ambiguous'?
February 24, 201213 yr Having read their tweets they haven't denied it at ALL, which leaves me in DEEP FEAR - their responses so far when asked if they're representing are 'we get asked regularly', 'no need' (when asked if they'd denied it yet), and 'don't think so, where did you hear that?'. HOWEVER, I've listened to the snippet of their new single online and...well, it'd do disastrously in Baku and we'd be a complete joke, but worryingly it would quite easily be in the top five entries we've sent in the last decade... February 24, 201213 yr I could get on board with The Ting Tings, they've had some very decent tunes in the past. However, if it turns out to be Right Said Fred I'm pledging full allegiance to Norway/Sweden/France/Cyprus or whoever. I think I'd rather have Pete Waterman again.
February 24, 201213 yr Pete Waterman WISHES he was still capable of something as discotits as He's A SXholic!
February 24, 201213 yr Right Said Fred would be the first UK Eurovision entrant I'd ever owned anything by..... :D
