I wasn't so taken by For Altid personally but I LOVED her last album so am quite interesting in the new one. Yeah I agree, perhaps they're not so easy to source? Norwegian releases are a bugger to get hold of I know :lol: Danish? Le Kid are Swedish aren't they? 5. Oh yeah, that went to #5 for me, surprising how well they've done in my chart over the years, they've got to be second only to Delta in terms of volume of top ten hits, I'd estimate that they've had about 40 including singles, album tracks and b-sides :o I saw In Blue in Poundland the other day, would have been an ideal place to snap it up! Annoyingly I can't get most Corrs' albums (including In Blue) onto my iPod as they seem to be copy protected, same with Andrea's first solo album :/ 8. Oh dear :drama: Hopefully nothing too amazing is sitting in that 'never listened to' pile! 01 - :drama: , I'm sure I read somewhere that Le Kid were Danish when their MF appearance was announced, as the writer said that it might go against them! He must have been ill-informed and hence I was too :( . The last Medina album was really strong, I decided to buy both the Danish and English versions! Maybe they are difficult to get hold of, it's very unusual for NM to sell Norwegian releases! 05 - Girls Aloud have done well on my chart in the past, most of their singles go top 10, but a lot of them strangely peak at #8 :lol: . Our Poundland is also selling a lot of pre-owned albums, but I haven't seen The Corrs in mine. I've bought tonnes of Hits albums as well as a few other compilations and Ashlee Simpson's first album :lol: . 08 - Hopefully not! All of the albums I'm extremely interested in get played immediately, but there may be one or two surprises amongst the ones that haven't been played. I'm pretty sure that all five members are Swedish :o They have a very Danish aesthetic and sound to them actually (like Alphabeat meets Aqua meets The Cartoons etc...) and almost seem TOO happy to be Swedish so I can see why people might be confused. Indeed, it took an AGE to get hold of the most recent Maria Haukaas Storeng album seeing as it wasn't on NM and now I wish I hadn't bothered it was so poor :lol: The Melodi Grand Prix albums are never available on there either, not that I'd have wanted to buy this year's compilation. 5. Only two of their 21 singles missed my top ten - Wake Me Up (#11) and Untouchable (#13). Considering that these are two fan favourites, I think that this surprises people but there we go, that's the way my personal taste goes :lol: I managed to pick up loads of cheap Smash Hits and Pepsi Chart albums in there, didn't fancy any of the ancient pop studio albums though! I know I'd never play them, even at a pound! 8. Hopefully so, sometimes the best albums turn out to be ones that you didn't have any sort of high expectation for!

I wouldn't mind getting this years MGP album as I loved Allergic, Vardlokk and a couple other tracks. Last year's copntest didn't impress me that much iirc. 05 - Of the singles, only See The Day (#15), Walk This Way (#25) and Sexy No No No (#12) missed my top 10. Oh dear :drama: My copy of the Le Kid album arrived one day after the Swedish release date too, I was really impressed :o I know what you mean, they just 'don't' feel like a Swedish act! Yeah I liked a few songs in this year's MGP but nothing enough to get the album - the highest in my YTD top 100 is Babel Fish's Depend On Me and it may not even hang on until the end of the year :o In 2009 a good few of the MGP entries made my end of year top 100! 2010 had two or three iirc... 5. I thought you'd have been a big fan of Sexy! No, No, No for some reason! I can understand the other two although shamefully See The Day was one of their four #1's for me! I don't recall why exactly :lol: 05 - I should have charted Sexy! No No No much higher, but for some reason it stalled at #12 at the time :( . See The Day is my least favourite of their singles :kink:
