Thanks, Pam. I think Culzean was my favourite gig despite the dreadful weather. Thank goodness it cleared up for D's set of 10 songs, the longest of the night.

That's really good. I wish my camera had been working properly. That brought back great memories

Aw, I just caught a glimpse of Darius's birthday cross.

Can't believe it's just a fortnight to his next birthday. Time certainly does fly when you're enjoying yourself.

It's hard to believe this is the same guy who three months later would be dancing and singing so stylishly, giving it the old Razzle Dazzle on a West End stage. It's absolutely amazing how minor changes in D's hair style and clothes can make such a difference. He looked so different again back in 2003 when he shaved his head. I was sad when he started to grow his hair again but I really fell for the wild Culzean look so much that I didn't want him to get it all cut short for Billy Flynn.

To me Darius is like a chameleon!! :D As you say, minor changes can make such a difference and he adapts to suit every style of performance brilliantly and look absolutely gorgeous!! No matter what he does he always gives 110% and that is why, although there are other performers I admire, Darius is the ultimate for me!!

It's just such a shame that because of the London/South East bias of much of the media so few people ever see how versatile a performer Darius is. At least a lot did see him in Chicago but on the whole I think they wouldn't be the people who have only one image of Darius - HMBOMT on Popstars.

Apparently there was a tiny glimpse of Popstars Darius again on screen in the BBc2 show about Light Entertainment. At least it wasn't the same song this time!

I like Only You and that sort of Darius :D - It's great to be able to see it, since I wasn't able to be there - thanks Pam

I like performances where he comes onstage and all he and the band know is the order of the set. Mostly Darius has absolutely no idea what part of the stage he'll be working on at any instant. It's risky but gives him the flexibility to work the crowd and react to their feedback. The band too do pretty much their own thing.

The only thing remotely like choreography is the jumping up and down on Dive In and Kinda Love which they seem to do just for fun.

It's a shame we've probably seen the end of that particular band because they were not only great musicians but wonderful people too. I'm confident Darius will pick some good guys and (gals?) for the promotion of his new album.

I bet Greg'll be back if he could fit it in and fit in with the style

I'm sure Karl would be back if he wasn't tied to anyone else...

Well Greg posted "maybe see you at a future Darius gig" or something like that on MySpace and Karl said he misses Darius - so I think you're both right :)

- I guess it all depends what Darius does next musically too though, what kinds of accompanyment he will need and as you say, availabilities of whoever, coinciding.

I remember, that I did believe that when Darius first put the band together, they would be together forever, but I thought many things that have turned out differently  :)
