Posted September 15, 201113 yr HO1OV5B_JDw 8t-I-Lqy06g Lizzy Grant a.k.a. Lana Del Rey, gained some buzz through online. Both tracks will be released as a double-sided single in 16th October. 'Video Games' is playlisted and getting some plays on Radio 1 currently. And maybe she could become a breakthrough act this year or next year? I find this girl really weird TBH. September 15, 201113 yr Has there not already been a thread on her? Strange. She's going to be massive.
September 15, 201113 yr My mum sent me Video Games a few months ago and I was immediately obsessed. It just pains me that my mum has more street cred than me.
September 15, 201113 yr She tried to deny having a lip job LOL. Why bother when it's there for everybody to see in all their plumped up glory?
September 15, 201113 yr The latest in the rare line of BJSC artists to make it big methinks  Amazing song, it fits the piano ballad trend now very well. I can see her at least having Paloma Faith levels of success, if not a lot more.
September 15, 201113 yr Still do not see the fuss with this song, at ALL. Not heard anything else from her but I will await more singles and stuff, before I decide on whether I like her or not...
September 15, 201113 yr I heard this yesterday, and I'm now pretty sure this will be huge - a very nice song which is actually rather catchy for a ballad, I can see the radio being all over this Edited September 15, 201113 yr by C.W
September 15, 201113 yr If something as dull and lyrically terrible as Someone Like You can sell a million this can surely sell three million?

September 15, 201113 yr I love Video Games  A number one would be amazing but unlikely with some X Factor release probably happening :( Anyway it'll definitely be a big hit, probably on Christina Perri levels of success (RFC I don't think it'll sell 3 million ) I just checked the release schedule and found out she's released the same week as Matt Cardle - so she has zero chance of #1. Other notable releases that week (10th October) are Gym Class Heroes feat Adam Levine 'Stereo Hearts', Joe Jonas 'Just In Love' and Wolfgang Gartner feat. will.i.am 'Forever'. iTunes seems to disagree with the release schedule however (it says it's released 16th October - if that's right then the competition is Matt's 2nd week and Kelly Clarkson)

September 17, 201113 yr I'm kind of proud I was one of the first people to have discovered her in here :heehee:
September 17, 201113 yr And I'm feeling even more proud that I was the first person to chart her on buzzjack! Sorry being a bit smug there! Blue Jeans is great isn't it? And so is Kinda Outta Luck. Bring on the album!
October 1, 201113 yr Wow, I thought I was the only one to know her! I'm honestly a little surprised she got playlisted in the UK, thats pretty impressive! It's Video Games, I'm assuming, but I think that once Blue Jeans is eventually released as a single it'll absolutely blow VG out of the water. Amazing song. It's perfect for American radio, too.
October 5, 201113 yr Radio 1 A List! :cheer: Also there is a fake version of Video Games just outside the top 200 on iTunes and is at #31 on the iTunes album chart as a preorder! So glad this looks set to be a hit!
October 11, 201113 yr Oh f***, just how good is Blue Jeans! I didn't think there would be a rival for song of the year to I Follow Rivers and it is just the B-SIDE! BTW Anybody else see her on Later tonight. She sang Video Games but maybe we'll get Blue Jeans as well on Friday.
