Well considering that M5 will probably be selling around 65k next week, it will be a rather 'soft' no.1 and vulnerable to any surprises.

Let's hope some random X-Factor thing doesn't thwart it.

I hope it finally gets a shot at No 1 if not this week then next, not sure why they just cant come over for even 1 day of radio or television promotion.

Someone Like You finally has an official video!  Finally here after broken records, #1 in countries all over the world & millions of sales. :heehee:

It may have an impact over here, not sure if its going to be sent to UK TV. #39 atm.

Moves Like Jagger at #1 AGAIN towards the end of the week. I think it could probably end up at #2 this week and then I'm hoping for #1 next week. Pleeeeease!!!

In the UK at least the Brits appearance *was* the video for SLY. That was what sent the track towards it's mega sales.

I doubt it will have much effect here.

Yeah, the live video was great to have, think that was the perfect choice. I'm glad it finally has a video though, and i doubt it'll have a huge impact but it could help even if it isnt shown on UK TV channels just through wor do fmouth, internet sites, youtube etc. Cant believe its still top 40, sold over 1,130,000 copies and went to #1 back in February! Incredible.

:o Didnt even notice this was so high.. Broken Strings  #36  (59p for a while now)

Love how well James Morrison is doing at the moment, was gone for so long, then suddenly back, and I Wont Let You Go has done surprisingly (for me even though i like it) really well, and a #1 album on Sunday, and could be #1 on radio come Sunday too, chuffed with that! :D

Sexy and I Know It  #11

Without You  #12

Cheers  #13

Looks like LMFAO will be top 10 soon, after the flop Champagne Showers :o and Without You needs a video now, and looks like Cheers will peak just outside top 10, I thought it'd do that, doing really well though.

Marry You  #17 think this may have lost all hope going top 10 now with no video. I think It Will Rain is out soon too.

Go  #18, shame thought it may creep in to top 10.

Make You Feel My Love  #100, nearly on its way out of top 100 on iTunes for the first time in absolutelyt ages right?

Random to see Motivation in the top 1000 and actually rising.

Go is always going up to a new peak then dropping again. I think it still has a decent chance of going top 10 but I wouldn't be surprised either if it ends up being a stally one.

Also, Make You Feel My Love was outside the top 100 in my 8pm update on Wednesday but re-entered yesterday, so no it isn't the first time it's been outside the top 100 in ages. It had been outside the top 100 for a couple of days not long before that as well.

It's amazing how well it's held up anyway. Last week marked it spending a whole year in the top 100 (since getting to #4) without dropping off and barely dropping off the iTunes top 100 in that time either, I wonder if it can hold on for another year

Maroon 5 are just about to overtake Sak combined - his three versions are now at ~78.3, ~17.1 and ~5.9, adding up to ~101.2. It's far too late in the week for them though and they're not pulling away as fast as I expected so Sak Noel should be safe for #1. :D

We'll see what happens next week, maybe something will jump out of the blue but at the moment I can't see past Maroon 5 having a chart run of 3-3-2-2-2-2-3-1 (or 3-3-2-2-2-2-2-1 if they overtake GGD at the last minute which I don't think they will)

 Yes this is what I was refering too, its spent so long in the top 100. I can see SLY doing the same.

Iris may start falling quite a lot now, being at #1 helps a lot. Moves Like Jagger back there again  Definitely #2 come Sunday. Iris #3 :D Amazed at how well Iris has done this week.

Fakes

50. We Found Love (Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris Remake) - The Cover Girl

72. Stereo Hearts - My Hearts A Stereo

137. Stereo Hearts (Tribute to Gym Class Heroes [feat. Adam Levine]) - 2011 Music Hitz

161. We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) - Rihanna Cover Band

204. Got 2 Luv U (Tribute To Sean Paul feat. Alexis Jordan) Performed By Cover Nation - Cover Nation

235. Video Games (Tribute to Lana Del Rey) - The Tributers

369. Read All About It (Tribute to Professor Green) - The Tributers

470. We Found Love - Star Power

612. You Make Me Feel... (Cardio Workout Tribute to Cobra Starship & Sabi) - Cardio Jams

643. Earthquake (Tribute to Labrinth feat. Tinie Tempah) - The Tributers

790. Stereo Hearts (My Hearts a Stereo Mix) - DJ Cherry Bomb

824. We Found Love - Star Power

Weird that the most popular We Found Love fake in the UK is the Cover Girl version but in Ireland that's not top 100 and the "Star Power" version which is only #824 in the UK is top 10 in Ireland.

Edited by Umi

I have a feeling We Found Love is really gonna be hurt by those fakes unless it's released slightly earlier

it would be bizarre to see Moves Like Jagger at number 1, after all those weeks and what we've been saying about massive number 2s, it just feels a bit of an anticlimax if it gets to number 1  maybe it's just me

'WFL' really needs to be released earlier than November. At this rate, I can see the fake version going (at LEAST) top 10 and hurting the sales of the real version.

Yes it's just you. A song that's been in the charts for two months and sold nearly half a million copies before going to #1 would be an AMAZING thing.

The anticlimax is the only reason I'm not pulling out the Levine death threats for when it inevitably gets to #1 next week. :D

Loca People's top version finally joins the iTunes top 2. Only took it nearly 6 days.

Oh my at a fake We Found Love already being top 50, looks like there could be a few versions making the official top 100 before the real one is released if they delete the fakes as often as they did with the Loca People fakes

And what if Stereo Hearts gets no.1 the week after? :heehee:

Besides I'd hardly call it an anticlimax since it's what most people have been wanting to happen for ages.
