Picked up by E4 in the UK. :D

 

I'm glad it's going to be shown in the UK. I didn't think this would get picked up because it might be "too American"... Hopefully people will give it a chance because it's just so ridiculously good!

Latest episode was excellent. Love the noir visuals when Victoria showed up at that artist's place near the end (brought a tear to my eye it did). Glad the show is refocusing on Emily vs the Graysons now that the Daniel trial is out the way. Speaking of which I love how Daniel or Victoria are always out on that damn balcony watching Emily's porch and she never looks up to check if she's being watched when she leaves the house. :D Charlotte is probably the world's most pathetic drug addict. And it makes amazing telly.

 

OOOOOOH. Last night's episode! *.* Last week's episode was a bit MEH but they've made up for it this week. Everything seems to be coming together very nicely. :D

 

 

SURELY Nolan cannot die. AMAZING episode. The Sammy stuff actually got me a bit weepy.

What a finale. What cliffhangers & twists. My jaw dropped open at the return of Amanda (with baby bump too!). But have they really killed off Victoria?! Surely such a fabulous character can't be dead. None of it was exactly what I wanted (especially as I'd just come round to Emily/Jack) but wow. The entire section where 'Seven Devils' was playing in the background.

The Seven Devils montage was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Seriously. The shot of Victoria boarding the plane was bordering on iconic. This show just LOOKS so damn good on a visual level. I love how everything culminated in an hour of sky high drama, there wasn't a wasted minute. Charlotte actually began to grow on me when she pulled that stunt at school but I suspected she would be the death of the episode and the way her suicide played out was just beautifully tragic. I imagine Lydia is dead and Victoria got off/parachuted off the plane. I also suspected that there was a bigger conspiracy at play than just the Graysons' involvement with David Clarke so I'm excited to see where that goes next. The only mild disappointment for me was that Emily didn't exact proper revenge on the white haired man. Jáhq, did you honestly not see Amanda's return coming a mile off? LOL. I knew she'd be back but when Emily was about to lay everything on the line with Jack I thought I must have been wrong. How cruel of him not to tell her straight off that Amanda was back! That was probably the best finale of the season. Better than Scandal and The Good Wife. AMAZING.

Oh I was so hoping that she'd kill the white haired man but the way the finale played out in the end it didn't really matter. I'm the opposite, I hated what Charlotte did at school but I couldn't hold the grudge for long once she saw the report on TV. I didn't see Amanda's return, not like that, I was just really hoping that Emily would tell Jack everything. Surely Jack isn't the father though? One finale of the year that did not disappoint in any way but it's going to ruin my summer with the wait we have now.

I saw the trailer on E4, it looks damn good, looking forward to it. I'm trying not to read this thread from the beginning.

Such a great finale. :rollseyes: at Amanda coming back, silly American networks and their delaying of TV couples.

 

I think Victoria got on another plane, and the editing made it seem like she was on the bombed plane.

JUST got around to watching the finale. Seriously amazing piece of TV. Can't wait to see how they continue this. I'm hoping for an alive Victoria and a dead Charlotte!

I hope neither Victoria or Charlotte are dead; they're both great characters! Although if they're both alive it's going to look like a bit of a cop out.

 

I thought this was one of the best season finales in a while...it was just the right amount of things tied up and new twists, and the right amount of cliffhangers to make sure you're back next season.

I've watched everything and I'm FURIOUS that Victoria is dead. She was FANTASTIC.

Of course she's not. She's the single best character in the show. There is absolutely no way on this earth they've killed her off. I think she'll be missing for the first half of the new season but will come back for some revenge of her own.

She won't miss half a season. Mike Kelley who runs the show is very keen on fast moving plot and not dragging cliffhangers out for weeks. She'll be back in the very first ep I'm sure.

I decided to wait until this came around on UK TV via the normal channels. Someone very kindly sent me a streaming link a while back but I just cannot get streaming to work (or at least work decently) so I decided I'd be patient.

 

Its every bit as good as you said it was!!! Love it. Especially Madeleine Stowe and Henry Czerny (although I do find the lead actress playing Emily/Amanda a bit wooden).
