Is it just me or is Anastacia the new millenium version of

Taylor Dayne "Voice Wise" of course.

I still cant see how anastacia is compared to Taylor. Anastacia fans always talk about this. I think anastacia has a more powerfull voice then Taylor.

And also, I have said this many times before.

Taylor dosnt have as much edge and she dosnt have the famous "growl" that anastacia does.

Also, Taylors voice is strong, so is Anastacia's, but Anastacia's voice was built to be deep. Anastacia can go VERY VERY low for a girl, you should hear here in an interview, she can go deeper then ALOT of men out there, and i dont think Taylor is deep to, she's just got a normal voice is you ask me.

 

Thats why I think that Anastacia she be compared to people such as Tina Turner instead of Taylor Dayne. Taylor is just a woman with a powerfull voice, but her voice isnt unique unlike Anastacia's

Although listening to the second song, it's very Anastacia like, although I still wouldnt compare them two. It's about edge, power, deepness and the growl for anastacia, and for Taylor all i can say is power.

 

AND taylor looks like quite a big strong woman and they normally have big voices, where as Anastacia is a skinny midget with steel lungs

I can see why they are being compared. But Ana's voice is more powerful and has the growl that makes her voice stand out when u compare it to taylor dayne's voice.

me personally i like both anastacia & taylor dayne

and i think both are awesome but i think it would be

interesting if they did a duet together and i would love to hear how taylor

voice sounds like today since i think she ´ll making a comeback

yup Anatsacia does know who she is :D But I havnt heard Anastacia say anything yet.

 

Example. When Anastacia first got her record deal the record producers said she sounded like Taylor Dayne and looked like britney. But apparntly they didnt want that. This is what anastacia said in an interview:

"They wanted me to sound like Celine Dion, LeAne Rimes.. and they also wanted to take away the growl in my voice"

 

But Anastacia wouldnt change. So there you have it ^_^ Thats the closest i know.

 

And a duet WOULD be nice, but i would prefer one with Tina Turner ^_^

Me 2 as their voices differ much more and match better together.

I love Taylor Dayne and she's a very underrated vocalist who deserves her flowers. "Love will lead you back" is fantastic.
