Really good selection overall. The weakest of all IMO are All Saints - Pure Shores, Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc, Lily Allen - Smile, Melanie C / 'Left Eye' Lopes - Never Be The Same Again and Sugababes - Round Round. I went with Lily Allen this round.

Im tempted to just delete 1 song every round instead of 2, just beause I think we are going to find it hard to find a clear winner each round. What do you guys think ?

 

Oh, definitely. Everyone will know these songs, so there won't be lack of interest, and it gives songs far less chance with double eliminations. And I'm sure each round will still have a decent amount of discussion; the only reason the early years were struggling was because fewer people remember/cared about the earlier years with songs they didn't particularly like in there.

 

Also, while I'm here, 8 of these are in my top 100 of all time, and 3 of those have more than one vote already. :(

Even with 45 votes cast its still very close. This game is def going to be very interesting.

"Bad Romance" - it's a terrible song, not even Gaga could save this from being a pile of rubbish

The only reason why is becuase each game has always had 40 songs in. And with there being 10 years in a decade, It made sense to take 4 songs from each round to make it to 40.

I don't know how to explain it really. Just that there's nothing to hate about them. I don't like them because I think they're so generic and a bit boring to me, but most people think they're revolutionary, so I can't see why they'd ever vote for then. Also, I think they'll be the top 3 because they're similar songs, so they people that don't like that sound will have their votes split between them. There's a lot of other similar songs to then, especially Push the Button, Disturbia, etc, but they'll get voted earlier than Lady Gaga's songs, even if they sound similar, because Lady Gaga wrote the lyrics to her songs. So that's why she'll be the top 3. If she had just 1 song in the poll, she might've gone out earlier.

I think I understand what you mean. Basically the anti-Gaga voters will be split between 3 songs that will then be able to sneak through round after round. While I won't deny the impact that Lady Gaga has had on the music industry I truly hope that she won't win this :drama:

Still can't believe Kiss Kiss made this. Gaga, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado and Sugababes have been able to slip three songs in the final, which is pretty impressive.
