I thought that would be the case when you said Manics were on the same day as Will and they have music from the 'headline act' that Manics were likely to be the headline act and it looks like a bit of new music too, Oh Land are Katy Perry's tour support act, so I'll be seeing them next week

Damn! I was really looking forward to that intimate half hour of music from Will. :(

Thanks, i think there's quite a few people waiting for that day. :D I'm glad this show has started, there is a serious lack of music shows around.

Huh, just been checking out the TV guide for this and I see that the Virgin guide has described Will as Pop Idol Winner Will Young :angry:

 

It often seems his specialist subject is perceived as REALITY TV. Hope he says something really on the money about Simon Cowell if that's what they want him to talk about.

I expect He is considered an expert as he has done things his own way without Cowell's clueless input. :D I hope they ask him about music as well though..i don't want him just there as the resident Talent show success story.

I've always wanted to know what Will really thinks of Cowell. Guess he has no X Factor slot this year. :lol:

I think this could be enlightening! We've always known he hasn't much time for Cowell but he's always been polite and guarded.

I watched the first show with Noel Gallagher, Julian Lennon and Ricky Wilson of the Kaiser Chiefs. There were three live tracks played from two different bands I'd never heard of but both good. I thought Jo Whiley did quite a good job keeping things flowing. The discussion bounced around quite a lot, various topics so hopefully it'll be totally different to what Will is usually asked.
