Damn it! I was looking for a date.

None of the singles have really hit me in the way I'd hoped. :( With "In The Mourning" I'm thinking "The Only Exception" but not as good.

 

I think In the Mourning has a more intricate melody that The Only Exception which was a bit monotone. The lyrics are less schmaltzy as well which is always a winner.

In The Mourning is beautiful. That was the track that made me buy the Singles Club download. There's a softening Country feel to it that I love. It really has made me pumped for the new album.

Sounds alright on first listen. Expecting BETTER material than this for album #4 though
